Research On The Impact Of China's Outward Direct Investment On Intra-industry Trad

Intra-industry trade refers to the import and export of products in the same industry by a country or region within a certain period of time.The continuous development of intra-industry trade plays a positive role in promoting a country’s consumption,production,technological innovation and industrial upgrading.Asean is China’s most important and successful cooperative partner.Since the establishment of china-asean Free Trade Area,trade and investment relations between China and ASEAN,two economic powers,have become increasingly close,and the way of trade between ASEAN and China has gradually turned into intra-industry trade mode.Therefore,this paper makes an in-depth discussion on the influence of China’s direct investment in THE ASEAN region on its intra-industry trade.On the basis of previous studies,this paper generalizes different views on intra-industry trade,international direct investment,and the influence of direct investment on intra-industry trade,and discusses the mechanism of intra-industry trade.Then,the article from between China and asean investment overall scale,the overall industrial structure,the specific distribution and subdivide the investment category of country,direct investment to China and asean condition has carried on the detailed comb,and from the overall level of trade,trade structure characteristics of the current situation of our country industry investment are analyzed in detail.Finally,this paper uses panel data model to quantitatively analyze the influence of direct investment on intra-industry trade between two regions from the perspectives of direct investment and intra-industry trade.It is found that China’s direct investment in ASEAN has an important impact on the development of vertical intra-industry trade,horizontal intra-industry trade and overall intra-industry trade.Finally,this paper discusses the investment environment,investment structure optimization,investment differentiation strategy and investment direction of China and ASEAN in the future and gives some suggestions.
