| The issue of corporate social responsibility(CSR)is a hot topic of common concern to all walks of life in the world.Recently,the boom in social media has provided a new carrier for CSR disclosure.What CSR content do companies disclose using social media? What influencing factors determine the level of information disclosure? This is a problem to be addressed and studied in this article.This paper reviews the content,influencing factors and social media disclosures of social responsibility disclosures,and conducts research based on reputation theory,information asymmetry theory,agency theory,and stakeholder theory.This paper takes the listed enterprises in the paper industry in Shanghai and Shenzhen in 2018 as a research sample,takes the GRI index as the research framework,divides the disclosed CSR information into three categories: economy,environment and society,and studies the content and influencing factors of CSR information disclosure by papermaking enterprises using social media through text analysis and quantitative analysis.Finally,it is concluded that: First,the paper industry enterprises use social media to disclose CSR information the most social information,and the environmental information disclosure is the least.Further research found that:(1)When disclosing CSR economic information on social media,the disclosure of indirect economic impact is the most.(2)The focus of social media CSR environmental information disclosure is to reduce the impact of products and services.(3)Social media CSR social information disclosure focuses on training and education and occupational health and safety,of which the level of disclosure in training and education is the highest.Second,through descriptive statistics and correlation analysis,this paper studies the relationship between enterprise scale,property rights attributes,attention of analysts and research reports,political relevance,information disclosure level of traditional channels and social media CSR information disclosure level.The analysis concludes:(1)The larger the enterprise size,the higher the level of social media CSR information disclosure.(2)The higher the attention of analysts,the higher the level of csr information disclosure on social media.(3)There is no obvious negative relationship between the traditional channel information disclosure method and the level of social media social responsibility information disclosure.(4)The impact of political relevance and property rights attributes on the disclosure of SOCIAL MEDIA CSR information is not significant.This study helps listed companies to understand social media CSR disclosure activities.Help market participants and regulators understand the disclosure of social media CSR disclosures of listed companies.This paper can improve the public’s attention to and supervision of social media CSR information activities,which has certain practical guiding significance. |
