| The implementation of China’s "Belt and Road" initiative has promoted the cooperation and development of tourism between China and Russia,making China the largest tourist source country for Russia’s inbound tourism.China’s economy has achieved sustainable development for many years,and the income level of residents has been constantly improving.At the same time,China has a population of 1.4billion,with tens of millions of outbound tourists every year.Attracting more Chinese tourists to Russia for tourism can promote the development of Russia’s inbound tourism.This paper studies the consumption behavior of Chinese tourists traveling to Russia under the background of the "Belt and Road".The purpose is to better understand the characteristics of the consumption behavior of Chinese tourists traveling to Russia,and to provide valuable research results for the Russian government and tourism departments to improve the quality of inbound tourism services for Chinese tourists and attract more Chinese tourists to Russia.First of all,this paper analyzes the development of Russian inbound tourism in the context of the "Belt and Road",including the development of Russian inbound tourism,the characteristics of Russian inbound tourism market in the context of the "Belt and Road",and the consumption analysis of Chinese tourists traveling to Russia in the context of the "Belt and Road".Secondly,the consumption behavior of Chinese tourists to Russia is analyzed by questionnaire and statistical analysis,including the demographic characteristics of Chinese tourists to Russia,consumption decision-making behavior before tourism,consumption behavior in tourism,and satisfaction evaluation after tourism.The research results show that:(1)The majority of Chinese tourists to Russia are young and middle-aged tourists aged 30 to 49,and the largest number of them are company employees and tourists with high education.Most tourists earn more than 7000 yuan,and tourists usually travel by family.Most tourists come from Heilongjiang,Jilin,Liaoning,Inner Mongolia,Xinjiang,Beijing and other regions in China.(2)The purpose of Chinese tourists’ travel to Russia is mainly for leisure and vacation.Chinese tourists are most concerned about the safety of the tourist destination.Most Chinese tourists travel to Russia by air and prefer to stay in high-end hotels.In terms of catering,Chinese tourists prefer to taste Russian food,while Chinese tourists prefer to buy food and souvenirs.Most Chinese tourists stay in Russia for more than 4 days.(3)Chinese tourists who travel to Russia have strong consumption capacity.Most tourists are satisfied with Russian tourism and have the motivation to revisit Russia.They also hope to explore other tourist cities in Russia.(4)However,it is worth noting that the Chinese tourists are most dissatisfied with the traffic conditions when traveling to Russia.Finally,the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for Russia to develop China’s tourist market.According to the above characteristics of Chinese tourists traveling to Russia,this paper puts forward suggestions for Russia to develop the Chinese tourist market:(1)Take advantage of China’s "Belt and Road" opportunities to promote tourism in the Chinese market;Develop more abundant tourism products according to the characteristics of Chinese tourists’ consumption behavior;(2)Deepen the cooperation with China on the "Belt and Road" project and improve the convenience to Russia;(3)Continuously improve the quality of tourism services in Russia and realize the continuous development of inbound tourism in Russia. |
