| The era of digital economy development has arrived.Digital technologies such as 5G,big data and artificial intelligence are gradually sweeping all sectors of the economy and society. In recent years, although our agricultural export trade scale has been increasing, the development speed is slow and the agricultural trade deficit is widening year by year.Digital economy,as a new economic development mode, will strongly promote the technological change of agricultural production and the quality upgrade of agricultural products export,so as to promote the development of agricultural products export trade.Based on this, this paper will study and analyze the influence of digital economy on agricultural export trade from the perspective of agricultural export effect. In this paper,we first define the concepts of digital economy and agricultural products in order to understand the influence of the digital economy on the agricultural export effect in a scientific way, firstly defines the concepts of digital economy and agricultural products, and then analyzes them from four theoretical levels: transaction cost theory,Davidow’s Law,Moore’s Law and Metcalfe’s law.It provides theoretical guidance for the later analysis of the mechanism and empirical study of the effect of the digital economy on agricultural exports.A mechanism analysis based on this shows that the digital economy can reduce the transaction costs of agricultural exports, expand the depth and breadth of agricultural exports, and improve the quality and quantity effects of agricultural exports. After that, this research paper starts by establishing an evaluation system of digital economy development level from three dimensions, such as digital foundation, and uses principal component analysis to measure the digital economy development index of 30 regions in China from 2013 to 2020.Secondly,a panel data model is used to practically analyze the impact of digital economy on the export effect(quantitative effect and qualitative effect)of agricultural products. Finally,A mechanism test using a mediating effects model to analyse whether there is an indirect effect. The research conclusion of this paper is:First, according to the digital economy development index measured by SPSS software, the overall digital economy development level is improving year by year, but the regional disparity is significant-the eastern region is higher than the central and western regions and the gap is expanding year by year, indicating the uneven level of development of China’s digital economy and the existence of a "digital divide";Second, the panel data regression results show that there is a statistically significant positive effect of the digital economy on the quantity and quality effects of agricultural exports.Findings of regional heterogeneity indicate that there is a significant contribution of the volume effect on agricultural exports from the levels of digital economy development in the eastern and central regions, and the latter has a greater promoting effect than the former. There is no obvious correlation between digital economy and quantity effect of agricultural exports in western China.Third, the mediating effects test indicates that there is an induced influence of the digital economy on the export impact of agricultural products, which is demonstrated by the existence of a direct quality effect with an indirect quantity effect.According to the above theoretical mechanism analysis and research conclusions,in order to make the digital economy and agricultural exports effectively combined, common development and progress, this paper makes the following policy recommendations:First, promote coordinated and comprehensive development among regions and narrow the "digital divide".Second, strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure in rural areas, implement the "number of business to rejuvenate agriculture";Third, promote the standardized development of agricultural products, improve the quality of agricultural products export;Fourth, build the cold chain system of agricultural products and accelerate the innovation and application of agricultural digital technology. |
