| Agricultural non-point source pollution has become a bottleneck restricting the development of green agriculture.Twenty reports proposed that China’s agricultural development should accelerate the green transformation of development mode,further promote environmental pollution prevention and control;Enhancing the diversity,stability and sustainability of the ecosystem;We will actively yet prudently promote carbon neutrality,reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and increase their efficiency,and promote green production by rural households.Green production behavior is one of the important connotations of green agriculture,and it is also the only way to realize the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.Promoting green production behavior not only requires the supporting and implementation of agricultural policies,but also requires the positive response of farmers.The rapid development of digital economy provides new solutions to stimulate the endogenous power of farmers,especially to cultivate the digital literacy of farmers.Accelerating farmers’ information processing is of great significance to improve farmers’ cognition,enhance farmers’ skills,and promote the choice of green production behavior.Based on the theory of planned behavior,the theory of externality and the theory of information asymmetry,this paper constructs the research framework of the influence of digital literacy on green production behavior.Based on the survey data of 511 households in the main citrus producing areas of Sichuan Province,the index system of farmers’ digital literacy was constructed,measured by factor analysis method,and the current situation of digital literacy and green production behavior of citrus growers was analyzed by descriptive statistics according to the five economic regions of Sichuan Province.Binary Probit model was used to investigate the direct influence of digital literacy on the green production behavior of citrus growers,and the robustness analysis was carried out by means of instrumental variable method,replacement variable and replacement model.Then,from the perspective of precise fertilization and green cognition,the mechanism of the influence of digital literacy on the green production behavior of citrus growers was tested.Finally,from the perspective of green production behavior heterogeneity and regional heterogeneity,the three economic zones in Sichuan Province were analyzed.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Citrus growers in Sichuan Province have certain digital literacy,and most of them choose at least one green production behavior.However,there are some differences among regions,and citrus growers in Chengdu Plain have the highest digital literacy.(2)Digital literacy can promote the choice of green production behavior of citrus growers.Specifically,digital literacy promoted farmers to reduce fertilizer input,actively introduce new technologies,and choose green waste disposal,but had no significant impact on pesticide reduction behavior.In terms of impact degree,digital literacy has the greatest impact on waste green treatment,followed by fertilizer reduction,and the introduction of new technologies.(3)Precise fertilization and green cognition have mediating effects between digital literacy and green production behavior.By improving farmers’ ability of precise fertilization and green cognition,digital literacy can further promote the choice of green production behavior.(4)Digital literacy can promote the green production behavior of citrus growers in different regions,and has the strongest effect on citrus growers in southern Sichuan.Based on the above conclusions,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward:(1)to improve the construction of rural digital system and accelerate the cultivation and promotion of rural households’ digital literacy;(2)Guide farmers to pay attention to the improvement of precision fertilization ability and green cognition while improving digital literacy;(3)We will increase subsidies and policy support for green agricultural production,and continue to reduce fertilizer and pesticide investment.(4)Strengthen the coordinated green development of citrus industry in Sichuan Province... |
