During the earthevolution history, Proterozoic era is a important metallogenic epoch,especially it is the most important period to form large-super large Pb-Zn deposits. So it is a good prospect to search for large-super large Pb-Zn deposit in Proterozoic stratum and the distribution area of rocks. To study Proterozoic geology and metallogenesis, it have important theoretical and economic significant. Proterozoic Pb-Zn deposit of Northern China are distributed mainly over Proterozoic stratum of the northern margin of the northern China platform. According to the time-space law of its distribution, it is subdivided into Pb-Zn deposit in the Liaoning-Jilin Early Proterozoic rift, in the Langshan-Zhaertaishan Middle Proterozoic aulacogen, in the Fanhe Middle-later Proterozoic aulacogen valley. Pb-Zn deposits of Qingchengzi, Beiwagou, Dongsheng, Huanggoushan are located mainly in the stratum include Liaohe group, Ji'an group and Laoling group which are sedimengtary rock series. Because of tectonization of Mesozoic era, violent volcanic outbreak and magmatic activity formed magmatic rock of Indosinian epoch and Yenshan epoch, which is major magmatic rock in this district. According to the basic characteristic of Pb-Zn deposits in Liaoning-Jilin rift, draw a conclusion, this deposits occurred in Proterozoic stratum, fault structure is main controlling-ore structure. Early phase of the rift activity, the stratum of Liaohe group and Ji'an group are deposited in the area, later phase, because of volcanic action and effusive eruption of sea-floor hot water, the metallogenic elements in the depths or underlie rock formation are brought to sea basin, deposited with the sediment of normal seawater, and formed primitive mineralization layer or mine-source layer. Violent fold and regional metamorphism impel various component to be realigned and re-allotted, the partial mineral composition is activated and migrated. Enrichment mineralization and formed ore deposit in the favourable place of original position or near detachment surface. So in the rift, the Pb-Zn sedimentary deposits are belong to massive sulfide deposits of sea-bottom emanated type of non-volcanic setting. Mainly locating in the Langshan-Zhaertaishan Middle Proterozoic aulacogen the deposits are Huogeqi, Dongshengmiao, Tanyaokou, Jiashengpan Pb-Zn deposits.In this district, outcropping seam are quite integrity, from Archean to Quaternary system, they have outcropped except Silurian, Devonian and Triassic system. Middle Proterozoic Zhaertai group is the position locating large-super large copple-polymetallic deposit. Regional tectonic have evident controlling-ore function. Having gone through many tectonic activity and magmatic intrusion, magmatic rock is distributed widespread over this area. Archean through Yenshan epoch, every period have magmatic activity. Judged by the characteristic of Pb-Zn deposits in Langshan-Zhaertaishan area, the deposits are strictly controlled by position and lithological characters, fold structure is main controlling-ore structure. The ore-body is closely related with carbonaceous striped quartzite, carbonaceous slate, argillaceous dolomite and limestone. The occurrence of ore-body and wall rock is identical. The ore have the residual sedimentary texture and structure, metal mineral association and the characteristic of distribution that show the sedimentary condition is the dominant controlling-factor of ore deposit-forming. In Fanhe Middle-later Proterozoic aulacogen valley, mainly locating ore deposit is Guanmenshan Pb-Zn deposit. In this area, the stratum include Dahongyu group, Gaoyuzhuang Group, Yangzhuang group and Wumishan group, which are carbonate rock series. Pb-Zn deposit is occurred mainly in striped dolomite of Gaoyuzhuang group, The regional tectonic is closely related with metallogenesis.
