As an important method for prospecting and an effective means for obtaining mineralization data directly, geochemical exploration is successfully in discovering and identifying mineral species or mineral deposits, by deep ore-body characteristics obtained. This paper gives the result of geochemical exploration techniques used in the mines of reserve crisis for prospecting, in order to prove its usefullness and effectiveness, based on the research for crisis-reserving mine valuation.The prospecting in crisis-reserving mine is to derive resources from concealed ore deposits, which is deep ore-body and the deposits in surrounding area. According to the main similarity criterion, the geological and ore-forming models of known deposits are used to appraise the geochemical anomalies that delineation potential targets in the area. There are three categories of geochemical exploration method deriving the deep mineral characteristics from the data, including: the normal (geochemical rock survey, geochemical soil survey); non- normal (Geochemistry gas survey, biogeochemical survey, geochemistry water survey, hydro-electrical geochemistry survey ); and other new methods (geogas survey, MOMEO, CHIM). According to the geochemical landscape and different purposes, these means can be adopt for good results .Selective sampling, sampling layout, indicator-elements and analysis methods are the key factors for extracted deep mineralization data. At the beginning of sampling, the work-plans are carried out , combined with the geological and geochemical characteristics for gaining effective data. Other, indicator element of ore-forming environment will be in more detail. The effective way to get deep metallogenetic indicators includes structure crack and vein geochemical survey.The known genesis-model is important contrasted criterion for prospecting in crisis-reserved mine. Under the guidance of known model of deposit, local geochemical survey can be put in practice, delineation targets, appraise anomalies, then to check and verify them. On the basis of mineral information identify and analysis, the anomaly can be contrasted by the way, including geochemical landscape evaluation, element association zoning sequence and geochemical parameters. In order to define anomaly, the primary and secondary anomalies should be distinguished at first, and then eliminating false anomaly and metal pollution. Otherwise, the non-pattern prospecting methods should be enhanced to find new type of ore deposit.The way to prospect concealed ore deposit in reserve crisis mine is that, under the guidance of new theories and by adopting new ideas and techniques, paying attention to new ore-forming and ore-controlling factors from the point of view of new genetic types and models of deposits, thoroughly analyzing available information can be found the substitute as well as the new same type of ore deposits.The methods in this paper were used in mineral predication in Tongchanggou gold deposit in Qinghai Province and Huaniushan lead-zinc-silver deposit in Gashu Province, and got good results...
