Documental Study Of TCM In Infertility

The incidence of infertility is about 10% in married women. Ancient and contemporary doctors give their respective explanations of this disease' s etiology,patho-genesis and selection of treatment based on the differential diagnosis,and have accumulated a large amount of related data from several aspects of the principles and methods of treatment and prescription,medicine. Some doctors applied related technique and study methods of modern medicine to the TCM infertility diagnosis and treatment,which has enhanced diagnostic and treating level of infertility,but it only reaches the primary stage in the systematic summary of related basic and clinical theory. The author used TCM documental study method of "discriminating thoughts a-mong different academic schools and probing academic origin" combining with textual research and modern analytic method,and gave classified study of all kinds of information. The documental study before liberation showed in etiology and pathogenesis there were much deep study in physique factors,endogenous seven emotional frustrations,life damage,which is worth further studying by scientific technique. First find the etiology of infertile couples then treat them. It is a wise choice. The treating principle of prescibing medicine according to different patients is worth paying much attention to for doctors. Although special recipe for special disease need further study,we should advocate differential diagnosis. Documental study after liberation can be classified in three sections:theoretical study,clinical study and laboratorystudy. In etiology of theoretical study,there were significant development in the study of emotional factors and kidney asthenia. And " artificial abortion is a dangerous factor of infertility" has been put forward. There were primitive probe of differential diagnosis. A breakthrough in clinical study should belong to traditional medicine treatment of regulating menstrual cycles combined with differential diagnosis,and the development of external treatment of TCM combined with modern technique,such as intrauterine injection,fallopian intervention treatment etc. The most encouraging thing in laboratory study is modern TCM doctors get hand of up - to - date scientific techniques,and enhance studying level of traditional Chinese gynecological theory to molecular level. According to ancient and modern exposition and knowledge learning from Teacher Tian as well as the author's twenty years clinical practice,the author discussed the female genital theory and the etiology and pathogenesis of infertility,concluded the conception of " Kidney - Chongren - Uterine axis,formulated the "New diagnosis and treatment project" of infertility. To make the diagnosis of infertility comprehensive,systematic,clear;to make the treatment systerm that combines the disease and the syndrome in TCM more reasonable.
