| Objective:To observe the effects of the smooth muscle of gastric antrum and thesignal transductional substances in Cells by electroacupuncture (EA) in acupoints of Foot-Yangming Meridian, to explore the related material foundation on the theory "A relative particularity between Foot-Yangming meridian and stomach" arid signal transductional approach of the effects of acupuncture.Methods:45 rabbits were randomly divided into five groups including saline group(A), atropine group(B), Stomach Channel group (C), Gallbladder meridian group (D) and Bladder meridian group (E). Following that, the cells of the smooth muscle in gastric antrum was separated, and recorded the cell length, the contents of Substance P(SP) and Motilin (MIL) existed in serum and gastric antrum were tested, furthermore the concentrations of intracellular messenger Ca2+, inositol triphosphate (IP3) and cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) were detected, analysised the effects of the above indexes led by EA in acupoints of Foot-Yangming Meridian, made correlated analysis between cell length and other indexes,and tried to add the inactivated serum after processing in every group to the isolated normal smooth muscle cell for observing the effects on cell length and intracellular Ca2+, IP3, cAMP.Results:(D The contents of Substance P and MTL of serum and gastric antrum smooth muscle of B were lower or descent tendency than A (P<0.05 or P>0.05 ), whereas that of C was significantly higher than other groups(P<0.01).(2) The cell length of smooth muscle of gastric antrum of B was longer than A(P<0.05), that of C was significantly shorter than other groups(P<0.01). Therefore, there were no obvious significance among B, D, E(P>0.05).(3) Compared with A, the concentration of B of intracellular Ca2+ had a descent tendency (P>0.05); Compared with A and other groups, the concentration of C of intracellular Ca2+ had increased to great extent(P<0.01 ), moreover, there existed no obvious significance among B, D, E(P>0.05).(4) Compared with A, the concentration of B of intracellular IP3 had a descent tendency (P>0.05); the concentration of C of intracellular IP3 increased to great extent comparing with A and other groups(P<0.01 or P<0.05 ), but there were no obvious significance among B, D, E(P>0.05).(5) The contents of intracellular cAMP of smooth muscle of gastric antrum of C had a tendency for increase, while there existed no significance among A, B, D, E(P>0.05). (6) The cell length of gastric antrum smooth muscle had a negativecorrelation with MIL , SP existed in plasm and gastric antrum and intracellular Ca2+ . DV the sequence of power of correlation: intracellular Ca2+>gastric smooth muscle SP> gastric smooth muscle MTL> plasm SP>intracellular IP3> plasm MTL, while there didn't exist a correlation with cAMP(PX).05).(D Through reaction between inactivated serum after processing in every group and the isolated normal smooth muscle cell, it could proved that the cell length of C was strongly shorter than other groups(P<0.01), the contents of intracellular Ca2* and IPs increased(P<0.01) ; the content of cAMP of A was obviously higher than the other four groups(P<0.01), while there existed no significance among B> C* D, E(P>0.05).Conclusion:(D By the means of cell length of smooth muscle of gastric antrum of the five groups comparison, that of C was shorter markedly than the other four groups and there existed no obvious comparision between that 4 groups, as a result, it indicates at cellular level: there exists a relative particularity between Foot-Yangming meridian and stomach.(D EA on points of Foot-Yangming meridian could make the content of MTL. SP of serum and gastric antrum smooth muscle increase, and the contents of MTL , SP had a clear negative correlation with the cell length of smooth muscle of gastric antrum, thus it could induced that MTL.
