| Objective:to observe the clinical therapeutic effect and the change of scale integrals of Functional Dyspepsia (FD) patients with acupuncture on specific acupoints of Yangming foot meridian and non-specific points of Yangming foot meridian, to explore the specificity of acupoint effect by comparison with non-acupoints.Methods:116 FD patients were randomized into 3 groups.36 were in the treatment group with specific acupoints in Yangming foot meridian(A group).39 were in the treatment group with non-specific acupoints in Yangming foot meridian(B group).41 were in the control group with non acupoints(C group). Three groups were treated once a day,0.5 hour each time,5 times a week as a course,4 courses all together. When accomplished after 4 courses,1 month and 3 month followed-up the accomplishment, several scales (NDI, SF-36, FD Symptom Integrals) were filled in and then with statistics and analyses.Results:1. When accomplished after 4 courses, A group had significant difference with B group in the recovery rate in symptom of postprandial, early satiety and upper abdominal pain (P<0.05). A group had significant difference with C group in the recovery rate in symptom of postprandial early, satiety, upper abdominal pain and upper abdominal burning sensation (P<0.05). B group had significant difference with C group in the recovery rate in symptom of postprandial (P<0.05)2. When accomplished after 4 courses, A group had significant difference with B group or C group in the NDI symptom score, NDI-QOL score, FD Symptom Integrals and SF-36 score (P<0.05). The result also showed that B group had significant difference with C group in the NDI-QOL score, FD Symptom Integrals and SF-36 score (P<0.05).3.1 month after treatment, the result of fellow-up showed that A group had significant difference with B group or C group in the NDI symptom score, NDI-QOL score, FD Symptom Integrals and SF-36 score (P<0.05), also showed that B group had significant difference with C group in the NDI-QOL score (P<0.05).4.3 month after treatment, the result of fellow-up showed that A group had significant difference with B group in the NDI symptom score, FD Symptom Integrals and SF-36 score (P<0.05);A group had significant difference with C group in the NDI-QOL score, FD Symptom Integrals and SF-36 score (P<0.05);B group had significant difference with C group in the NDI-QOL score (P<0.05).Conclusions:1. It is a therapeutical method to FD patients with acupuncture on specific acupoints or non-specific acupoints of Yangming foot meridian or non acupoints. 2. It can relieve the symptoms of the FD patients and improve the quality of their lives with acupuncture on specific cupoints of Yangming foot meridian. The short-term clinical effects and the long-term follow-up effects of acupuncture on specific acupoints of Yangming foot meridian are superior when compare with the non-specific acupoints of Yangming foot meridian or non acupoints.3. The short-term clinical effects of acupuncture on non-specific acupoints of Yangming foot meridian are superior than non-specific acupoint. However the long-term follow-up of acupuncture on non-specific acupoints of Yangming foot meridian is superior only on improving the quality of FD patients. |
