Study Of The Ancient Literature And Prescribing Rules On The Treatment Of Constipation In Traditional Chinese Medicine

By the method of literature research, through collecting and systematizing the ancient literature, this article systemically analysed the name, pathogeny, pathogenesis, differentiation syndrome, treatment principle, prescription and medicine of constipation, so as to systemically recognize the developing regulation of the differentiation syndrome and treatment of constipation and to establish literature basis for the further research in the later time.By the method of statistics, through analyzing the frequency,factors and classification of the 539 prescriptions of treating constipation during the accient time and today, this paper clarified the regulation and characteristic of the differentiation syndrome and treatment of constipation during each historic times such as the times before Jinyuan,Ming dynasty,Qing dynasty ,the recent and mordern times; systemiatically summarized the pathogeny and pathogenesis, regulation of the differentiation syndrome and treatment; put forward a new hypothesis about constipation pathogenesis and a new system of constipation differentiation syndrome and treatment based on combining pathogeny with constitution and disease position. All of these provide a new thinking to the standardization treatment of constipation in TCM clinical and optimization new laxative.
