Internal Dampness-heat theory of TCM elaborates etiology, pathogenesis and differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome of Internal Dampness-heat . It has a long history and is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine theory.For historical limitations and the different research methods, but lacks systematic collation and expositions at present.this article Collated, studied and researched the documents of syndrome of Dampness-heat from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period to the present, generalized and advanced the etiology, pathogenesis and differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome of Dampness-heat for the first time.it discriminated the differents between Internal Dampness-heat and exogenous Dampness-heat, then discussed the Internal Dampness-heat theory's applied cost in the Therapies of Chronic Hepatitis B and provided a basis for future work.The articl includes 10 parts ,firstly the author discussed the destination and acceptation of studying on the Internal Dampness-heat theory of TCM,then generalized the historical process and era peculiarity of the development and evolution of it by analyzing the historical origins and background of Internal Dampness-heat theory.with the elaborations on the pathogenesis and differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome of Internal Dampness-heat,the author collated the differents between Internal Dampness-heat and exogenous Dampness-heat,and addressed himself to the Internal Dampness-heat theory's applied cost in the Therapies of Chronic Hepatitis B.this article adequately unfolded the guiding function of Internal Dampness-heat theory in the Therapies of Internal Dampness-heat Damage .
