Current Investigation Of Secondary Prevention Among Ischemic Cerebrovascular Diseases In Zhangqiu

Objectives:To investigate current condition of secondary prevention among ischemic cerebrovascular diseases(ICVD) in zhangqiu;to analyse the effcts of secondary prevention (with traditional Chinese and western medicines) on the recurrence;to study the best secondary preventive plan of ICVD; to provide the basis for enhancing the secondary prevention of ICVD;Methods:All objects were interviewed with the unified table by the investigators who were trained in advance.The patients were divided into four groups: group1 (aspirin), group2(compound Danshen), group3(aspirin and compound Danshen) group4(without aspirin and compound Danshen)according to the different drugs for secondary prevention.The data were analysed with SPSS11.5 statistical analysis software.The recurrent rate were calculated with life tables of survival analysis,the curves of non-recurrent rate were compared with Wilcoxon(Gehan)statistic.Results:There are significant differences between group1 and group2,group1 and group3, Group2 and Group4( p<0.05).There are remarkable significant differences between group2 and group3, group1 and group4, group3 and Group4(p<0.01).Conclution:1. Aspirin can decrease the recurrent rate of ICVD apparently,but only the sdandard use can play the preventive role.2. The standard use of compound Danshen may prevent the recurrence of ICVD.3. The combined use of aspirin and compound Danshen can prevent the recurrence of ICVD better than the single use of aspirin .4. The combined use of aspirin and compound Danshen has a good economic index.5. The suitable drugs for secondary prevention of ICVD may be the combined use of aspirin and compound Danshen in our country now.6. Let's look ahead, the best secondary preventive strategy of ICVD may be the combined standard use of aspirin and compound Danshen and controling of the risk factors.
