Sst Theoretical Research Of Ecological Civilization

With the growing of ecological and environmental problems affecting sustainable development of human society, global warming and"low-carbon economy"have gradually become a worldwide hot topic, and the ecological civilization based on sustainable development has become the core issue of socio-economic development. In order to lauch the construction of the ecological civilization in China, we need to review the concept related to ecological civilization, re-examine the theory and practice of ecological civilization systematically, and substitute the concept of ecological civilization of dark Green for light green.., and instruct the theory and practice of the construction of ecological civilization in China with dark green notion of ecological civilizatio , in order to boost the development of China's ecological civilization.The method of social shaping of technology (SST) theorety has been applied in some fields successfully, and it is developing rapidly. Some scholars put forward social shaping of technological innovation, based on SSK and SST theory. This paper would try to expand the theory of social shaping of technology (SST), and relevant issues of the theory and practice of ecological civilization woud be analyzed. The present author expects that this research can do some good to the theory of social shaping of technology (SST) and ecological civilization in China.This dissertation contains seven chapters, including introduction Chapter and concluding remarks Chapter.As an introduction part, the first chapter explains origins of writing the article, then defines some important concepts, including the light green ecological civilization and dark green of ecological civilization, civilization with Chinese characteristics, and other related areas which should be defined.The second chapter, the present author analysizes Marxist ideas and theories of ecological civilization and the ecological theory of modern Western countries, especially the United States, and then does some comparative analyses on these countries'ecological civilization, including the United States, European Union, Australia and Japan. Some quantitative analyses and qualitative analyses no these country's ecological civilization practice have been revealed.The third chapter, the present author will do some qualitative comparative analysis from the"Book of Changes","Tao Te Ching"and other ancient Chinese classics and Confucian's"harmony between the heaven and human"and other theories of ecological civilization of ancient Chinese thought and the theory. And then the ecological theory and practice of modern China will be analyzed, expected to better understading and awareness towards China's ecological theory and practice.The fourth chapter introduces the wildly used all over the world and the developing technologies related to the ecological civilization, which includes energy-saving technology, new energy technology, water power technology, nuclear technology, hydrogen technology, carbon capture and save technology, carbon sequestration and provide reliable protection for ecological civilization construction of the characteristics of China's technologyChapter five, analyzes the theoretic basis for ecological civilization construction with characteristics of China's, including system theory, low-carbon economic theory, theory of circular economy and sustainable development theory.In Chapter six, in order to study from logical starting point turning the External Comments on the history of science, and sorting out to sociology of knowledge, sociology of scientific knowledge, as well as the Edinburgh School's SST theory. The present author studies the theory of social history of SST in-depth, expanding the theory of social shaping of technology (SST), doing some research to ecological civilization with the theory of SST, doing some social comprehensive analysis from factors related to the construction of ecological civilization theory and practice.Based on the above sections of the theory and practice, chapter Seven finally comes to three conclusions: the first one is that capitalist mode of production is the main culprit impeding ecological civilization; second, a huge wealth gap is insurmountable barriers for ecological civilization; Third, a special way is the inevitable choice of ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics and some suggestions are propose. At the end of the paper, the present auhot points out that socialist China will lead the trend of ecological civilization.
