Objective:Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) defined it as a persistent abnormal fatigue, which is a persistent or recurring fatigue more than 6 months as the main performance accompanied by fever, headache, sore throat, muscle pain, neuropsychiatric symptoms such as a set of non-specific symptoms syndrome; and CDC predict that CFS will be one of the major problems of human health in the 21st century. CFS is a newly understanding disease in modern medicine, the disease is also widespread concerned in the medical of China and abroad in recent years as an important issue. Epidemiology shows abroad, according to the diagnostic criteria of CFS, with 0.2-2.6% of people with CFS.Because the cause and pathology of CFS are still unknown, clinical treatment therefore also lack of effective methods. Western anti-viral, immune globulin, immune regulation medicines, vitamins, and other drug treatmenta as long as cognitive therapy, etc, at the exploratory stage at present. Thus many scholars hope to play our traditional chinese medicine in strength, to create a new road for treatment of CFS.Chronic fatigue syndrome does not correspond to the chinese literature records, but the symptoms of fatigue can be found in different descriptions, such as internal injuries in the digestive system, weakness, arthralgia, irritability, palpitations, etc. As for fatigue, Chinese writings have the "Xie Duo, " "slack, " "limb laojuan", "heavy legs" and other titles, "San Franciscans overall records·Consumption charpter, " says:"The injured workers extreme physical fatigue". For understanding the etiology and pathogenesis of fatigue, Chinese medicine considers the disease of excessive fatigue, exhaustion, including the excessive labor, mental fatigue and over-sexual activities, previously the two are more common, and it is classified as" neither external nor internal causes" (Chen Yan, Song Dynasty "Discussion of prescription of three causes lead to one disease·Triple etiology theory "). Compare the understanding of the etiology of Modern Medicine with the Traditional Chinese Medicine. It can be seen that "mental fatigue " related to CFS is the largest, more negative life events is an important factor in pathogenesis of CFS. Traditional Chinese Medicine thought that over mental fatigue can reduce Qi and blood, the modern syndrome research of Qi deficiency syndrome is also confirmed to be the highest intensity factor to CFS, both heart and spleen fatigue, liver malregulation in disperse and discharge are the second. And Qi deficiency, both heart and spleen fatigue, liver irregulation in disperse and discharge are closely related to psychological and emotional changes, which can be seen in Traditional Chinese medicine theory that chronic fatigue syndrome is closely linked to the five zang organs'function.Means of traditional chinese medicine currently used mostly arrousing clinical reports, for example:strengthening the body resistance and eliminating the pathogenic factors, Increase Qi and maintein Yin, decrease phlegm and recycle Qi, regulate Qi and eliminate stagnation of Qi, eliminate heat syndrome and detoxification, to harmonize the Nutritive and Defensive Qi as the principles for seletion different prescriptions. Clinical reports of acupuncture treatments from different points of view, different methods in the reports, all have certain kinds of effects and the advantages of no side effects, positively increase therapy results, this is a good prospect. In order to objectively evaluate the efficacy of acupuncture for CFS, more comprehensive to explore the possible role of acupuncture mechanisms of CFS, and provide a systematic and rigorous clinical scientific data, I propose the single-blind randomized controlled study of acupuncture method of five zang organs back Shu acupoints for treatment of CFS, observation will be done before acupuncture treatment and after it. Fatigue scale, self-rating depression scale, self rating anxiety scale and clinical efficacy will also be evaluated. Methods:Literature research, searching the source, the literature on the ancient name of disease-related fatigue, pathogenesis and treatment of other aspects of the acupuncture literature. In recent years, modern medicine and the possible mechanism of CFS also the mechanism of acupuncture research progress in a systematic review, in order to further explore the clinical efficacy of acupuncture treatment of CFS and its mechanism to laid a solid theoretical foundation.Clinical research,60 cases that fitted with the inclusive criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each group includes 30 patients. Scales were filled respectively as soon as the groups were formed. the back-Shu points of the five zang organs are the master points of the treatment group.Take prone position, regular disinfection, strait gear 25-40mm, retain the needle for 30 minutes after the arrival of Qi. Appropriate acupuncture points about 1-2 cm outside are selected for the control group, meridians and other acupoints should be avoided, Here we do not require the arrival of Qi. Course of the treatment,30 minutes each time,3iw, tertian, six times for one period of treatment, after one cycle rest for two days. After 3 courses of treatment fill the scale treatment again, and observeResults:3.1 Aspect on baseline material, two groups of patients in age, duration, gender constitute did not show statistically significant differences. It showed comparable between groups.3.2 Fatigue scale (FS-14), before treatment compared between groups, the treatment group score (11.61) and control group(12.28), two groups FS-14 scores difference was statistically significant (P>0.05), tips are comparable between groups; Two groups scores were declined after treatment with 7.069.83, respectively, are statistically significant differences, hint by different interventions patients follow symptoms were eased. After treatment, differences between groups was statistically significant comparative (P<0.05), indicating that the treatment groups of patients FS14 score dropped even more significant.3.3 Depression self rating scale (SDS), before treatment, scoring treatment group is 38.61 group and 38.28, two groups evaluation is compared between groups P>0.05, no statistically significant difference between groups, It hints comparable; The control group score for 37.83 after treatment, P>0.05 pre and after treatment, difference was statistically significant; Comparing pretreatment the treatment group'score dropped to 30.06, the difference was statistically significant. Showing that the treatment group can effectively reduce patients'SDS from ratings.3.4 Anxiety self rating scale (SAS), before treatment, the treatment group scored 42.10 while the control group scored 41.95. P>0.05 when two groups' evaluation is compared, no statistically significant difference between groups, hint comparable; The control group 39.83 score for after treatment, P>0.05 compared before and after, difference was statistically significant; The treatment group is 28.71, scoring a before treatment, difference was statistically significant decline. Declaring the treatment group can effectively reduce the SAS score for patients.3.5 Clinical efficacy, the total effective rate of the treatment group is 96.67% while the control group is 83.33%.Two groups of comparison, the treatment group is superior to the control group, and the statistically differences are significant. The results showed that patients with chronic fatigue syndrome, there were not only physical fatigue, mental fatigue, but also depression, anxiety, effected quality of life on a certain level. The two group can both decrease the FS-14 score, comparation between groups showed that patients treated with five zang back-shu points the FS-14 score decreased more significantly. Between the two groups in In the SDS scale, the acupuncture of the five zang organs back-shu points were more effective in reducing the patients with SDS score, remitting depression symptoms. In the SAS scale, acupuncturing the five zang organs back-shu points can relieve anxiety, bring down patients' self-ratings scores. For clinical efficacy the total ORR between the two groups, the treatment group was higher, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment of five zang organs back-shu points for chronic fatigue syndrome is effective, safe, simple and worthy of widely clinical application.4.1The back transport points on the bladder meridian is intimately associated with relevant the internal organs in meridian and morphological theory. This relation is the basis of the back transport points curing the relevant organs and tissue diseases.4.20n curing CFS, acupuncturing on the back transport points was a safe, simple, method. And in clinical implementation did not appear in the adverse reactions.4.3 It shows an exact effect on treating CFS with acupuncturing the back transport points, the definite effect may be effective in relieving the fatigue symptoms, reduce patients with SDS ratings, alleviate the symptoms of depression.5. The topic's innovative pointsThis study choose acupuncturing the back transport points as the treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome, and use the recognized, scientific evaluation as the diagnostic criteria and curative effect, randomized, single-blind test, then use the international fatigue scale, depression selfrating scale, anxiety self-assessment table to objectively evaluate the efficacy and safety of clinical treatment. To date, we have not seen similar reports both at home and abroad, its innovative points is certain.
