Objective Our study, aiming at establishing drug supply system and restructuring public hospital’s operational mechanism proposed in new medical system reform, established the management model of medical internet of things for hospital and explored the feasibility of constructing management system of regional medical internet of things, so as to realize the technology extension and contents integration of medical internet of things for many medical institutions, to increase management efficiency, reduce management cost, promote medical institutions’ focus on improvement of core capability of clinic level, thus to effectively drive the transformation and innovation of public hospitals’ operation mechanism.Content The study summarized systematically domestic and overseas theories and progress of hospital management based on technology of internet of things, and taking Tianjin Huanghe Hospital as subject and targeting at the problem in the hospital’s supply procedure, proposed the target requirement and functional modules of constructing the model of hospital‘s medical internet of things, constructed management model, restructured the Huanghe Hospital’s drug supply procedure based on the model, evaluated the model’s effect with management method, and conducted further study on service contents, management, performance, progress and other aspects of hospital’s internet of things, explored the feasibility of establishing the system of regional medical internet of things covering medical institutions of various levels and types, so as to provide theoretical support for realizing whole-process informatization supervision of drug circulation in the future and efficiently drive the implementation of essential drugs system, and to realize the value extension of medical internet of things system.Method By studying philology and supported by the resource of Tianjin Institute of Medical Science and Technology Information and its data platform, the study retrieved comprehensively the information on the electronic resources of famous domestic and overseas databases like SCI, Elsevier, Springer, EBSCO, Wanf, CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure), etc., collected and processed relative domestic and overseas literatures and information, sorted and summarized the achievement of current domestic and overseas management model of hospital internet of things, and to identify the components of the model and their functions, utilized BPR method with the steps of analyzing and describing current procedure, identifying problems, procedure design and application, etc., integrated experience from others and learn from each other in mutual emulation, to construct more common and effective drug supply chain service mode. By learning from the method of stakeholder analysis in enterprise management, the study balanced comprehensively the interest demand of the various stakeholders in the stages of drug supply chain operation process, such as health authorities, medical insurance departments, logistics enterprises, hospitals and patients, etc. and adjusted their profit distribution. The study evaluated the implementation effect of the model of medical internet of things with discrete Hopfield neural network model and made descriptive statistics of hospital’s financial indicators before and after restructure.Result The analysis result indicated, the overall balance and risk management of Huanghe Hospital in July 2014 was better than that of May 2014, assets operation was stable without obvious change, but assets operation efficiency needs further improvement; average drug cost per time in July increased than that in May, except the daily average drug expense of each bed in May, other expenses were all higher than the average level of seven hospital, thus dynamic focus should be normally available; compared with that in May, in July, with the unchanged medical income structure in drug income and hygienic materials income, the construction of hygienic materials and drugs in medical activities increased a little and ratio of labor expenditure was lowered, but management efficiency was increased and management cost was reduced. We can see from the analysis on divergent Hopfield neutral network model that the general management efficiency of Huanghe Hospital was ranked Level-3 before renovation, i.e. the common level while the Level-1 granted for its management efficiency after renovation is the highest. It proved there is a great improvement of the management efficiency for the Huanghe Hospital after renovation. Apart from the financial efficiency of Huanghe Hospital, which improved from Level 3 to Level 2, there are no changes in the aspect of efficient level for those hospitals procedure of medicine has resulted in the obvious improvement to the financial index of Huanghe Hospital.Conclusion It becomes the trend in the future of reforms with the aid of internet of things for public hospitals. By the internet of things jointly established by public hospitals and professional medicine distribution agents, it embodies the originative management of public hospitals and is benefits for the valuable exploration of solution to the medical reform issues as well. Depending on the internet of things for medicine management herein, the development of internet of things shall be oriented to management of high and low value medical consumables, fixed assets, personnel, supplying department and bedding and clothing washes, etc. as well. In order to adapt to updated medical reform, it is necessary to realized an elaborated management of hospitals to expedite the continuous development of informatization and internet of things of medical institutes.
