Research On The Sustainable Development Of The Cultural Industry In The Yellow River Delta

With the thorough development of multi-polarization and economic globalization in contemporary world, science and technology is developing rapidly while culture is becoming a more and more important factor in determining national and regional overall strength. Cultural industry is becoming a significant supporting power for national and regional economic and social development and playing an important role in expanding economic strength, enriching the spiritual and cultural life of the public, and improving people’s happiness index. Shandong is a large province of cultural industry. Ranked with the Yellow River Delta, the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta have grown into important clusters for cultural industry development. In2009, the construction of the Yellow River Delta Efficient Ecological Economic Zone is promoted to national strategy, and becomes an important part of national strategy for coordinated regional development, which brings unprecedented developing opportunities for the cultural industry in this area and puts forward higher demands for development concepts and means. At the same time, the increasing improvement of people’s living standard there provides location advantages and various conditions for developing cultural industry. Under this context, it assumes great importance to carry out research on the sustainable development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta.In order to promote the development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta, we should not only take the economic effects into consideration, but evaluate the steady development, long-term development and overall improvement as well, and focus on the rights and benefits of both contemporary and future generations so as to realize the sustainable development of cultural industry. To carry out research on sustainable development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta requires answers to a series of important questions affecting and promoting the sustainable development of cultural industry there in theory, while at the same time demands the inquiry of specific means in promoting the sustainable development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta from the perspective of practice according to its social, political, economic and cultural development. Therefore, based on industry, management and cultural socialism and other theories, this dissertation makes a tentative attempt to carry out analysis and research on the sustainable development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta. It consists of the following three parts: Introduction, Main Body of7chapters and Conclusion.Introduction discusses the causes and significance of selection of this topic and so forth. The first reason is that with cultural industry playing a more and more important role in economic and social development, cultural industry development in the Yellow River Delta has been ranked into the objective of local economic and social development. Since the construction of the Efficient Ecological Economic Zone of the Yellow River Delta has been updated to the level of national strategy, the objective and developing emphasis should be devoted to the sustainable development of cultural industry in this area, which reinforces the demand for this research. In the second place, currently there exists research on regional cultural industry development and that of sustainable development, but comparatively little systematic study on cultural industry development in the Yellow River Delta in terms of theory of industry. Besides, profound research has been carried out in related fields on sustainable development, from which precious experiences have been gained, which can provide help for this study. In addition, Introduction also exemplifies the methodology, current research and the originality of this dissertation.Main Body consists of7chapters. Chapter one illustrates the background of the development of cultural industry as a substitutable industry in the Yellow River Delta. Chapter two demonstrates the strategic choice of the development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta. Chapter three discusses the resource endowment for the sustainable development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta. Chapter four concentrates on the structural adjustment as an important way to change the development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta. Chapter five demonstrates the layout optimization as beneficial measures to promote the development of cultural industry in the Yellow River delta. Chapter six illustrates unification, improvement and orderliness:market conditions of the development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta. Chapter Seven exemplifies the policy system for cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta and its sustainable development, focusing on its characteristics and functions, and demonstrates structure policy, distribution policy, market policy, personnel policy and so on, in order to provide feasible protection for the realization of the sustainable development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta.Conclusion makes an overview of this dissertation and puts forward some thoughts on promoting the sustainable development of regional cultural industry in the future.Based on the concept of sustainable development, this dissertation sets up a preliminary theoretical framework for the sustainable development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta from industry theory and reality, and puts forward some recommendations for the developing practice of cultural industry in this area. At present, the development of cultural industry in the Yellow River Delta is receiving more and more attention, and the continuous research on cultural industry in this area will undoubtedly enter a new developing stage and play a positive role in promoting the development of cultural industry, By such, the sustainable development of cultural industry at the Yellow River Delta will be better realized, so as to better satisfy the increasing cultural demands of the people and benefit the future generations.
