| Professor Zhou Zhong-ying is a famous expert of traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine master. In recent years, based on the thoughts "syndrome differentiation is based on pathogenesis differentiation", he proposed a new idea of constructing a new syndrome differentiation system with the core idea of pathogenesis. This thesis is completed under the guidance of Professor Zhou and his academic thoughts of the new system construction. The thesis is divided into three parts:The first chapter is about the theoretical research of building the pathogenesis syndrome differentiation system. Based on the understanding of the importance of pathogenesis, the thesis extends to how to build the system, and discusses the theoretical and clinical significance of the system, the core concept of the system—’pathogenesis element’, characteristics of pathogenesis element, difference between compound and multiple pathogenesis element, and research ideas and methods of constructing the pathogenesis syndrome differentiation system.The second chapter is the study of ’Stasis-heat’ pathogenesis. This chapter is divided into two parts, the first part is about the concept of ’Stasis-heat’ pathogenesis, identification of ’Stasis-heat ’syndrome, and the summary of six sub-syndrome (Stasis-heat blocking brain, Stasis-heat jaundice, Stasis-heat bleeding, Stasis-heat blocking collaterals, Stasis-heat blocking tendons and bones, etc.). In the second part, the thesis used the method of statistics and data mining to analyze altogether843retrospective ’Stasis-heat’ cases treated by Professor Zhou personally, in order to explore the experience of Professor Zhou. The main contents are as follows:western medicine disease distribution of all the cases,’Stasis-heat’ pathogenesis related symptoms and signs, syndrome element distribution of ’Stasis-heat’ cases and each sub-syndrome cases, drug analysis of all the cases and each sub-syndrome cases, and application rules of the five common-used prescriptions.The third chapter is the study of ’Stasis-heat’ syndrome differentiation guide. This chapter is divided into two parts, the discussion of the first part is based on the medical record analysis of the second chapter, the main conclusion includes:①’Stasis-heat’ pathogenesis is widely distributed in various diseases, especially in the process of emergent or severe cases;②we should differentiate exogenous and endogenous injuries, distinguish severity of stasis or heat, differentiate the zang-fu location of the syndrome, and related sub-syndromes;③the treatments of five sub-syndromes are different according to different disease locations, multiple pathogenesis, and disease development, so several typical prescriptions including Xijiao Dihuang Decoction, Taoren Chengqi Decoction, Didang decoction, Bai Wei decoction, Xia Yu-xue Decoction can be selected. The second part is about the’Stasis-heat’pathogenesis syndrome differentiation program (draft), which is composed on the basis of the previous study results of843’stasis-heat’ cases and the clinical experience of Professor Zhou. This program needs to be further optimized. |
