The Study Of Geography Typology Of Polar Question On Henan Dialect

On the basis of field investigation,this dissertation collects the polar materials of 235 dialect points in Henan province,analyzes the geographical distribution and grammatical features of polarity in Henan dialect from the perspective of geographical typology and grammaticalization,maps the geographic distribution of polarity,comprehensive description and in-depth analysis of the characteristics and historical evolution of polarity in Henan.The full text is divided into ten chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,which introduces three aspects:(1)The geographic profile and historical evolution of Henan province and the internal partition of Henan dialect;(2)the research status of Henan dialect and Chinese questions;(3)the research object of this dissertation,the reason and significance of choosing the topic,the purpose and method of the research,the distribution and the source of the corpus.The second chapter mainly introduces the classification of polarity question of Henan dialect,according to the grammatical forms and grammatical means of questions,the polarity questions are divided into two categories(non polarity and repeated polarity),the four categories are the polarity of interrogative modal particle,additional negative polarity,interrogative adverb polarity and the verb deformation polarity.The third chapter discusses the type trait of the geographical distribution of polarity question of Jin dialect in north Henan dialect,and analyze the causes of the transitional characteristics of Jin area from the angle of language contact and immigration.From the fourth chapter to the seventh chapter,the author makes a study of the syntactic features and geographical distribution of the four polarity questions in Henan dialect Mandarin area,according to the needs of the type analysis,select the typical dialect points,the topological features and distribution rules of the polarity are analyzed.The dialect points selected in this dissertation have typical transitional features in language types,according to the analysis of the syntactic features and geographical distribution of the polarity of the point of view,it shows that there are certain regularities in the distribution of the four kinds of polarity of Henan dialect,and the distribution and evolution of the Henan dialect are closely related to the geographical features of the region.This dissertation also discusses the historical evolution path of all kinds of polarity questions based on the existing research results,the embryonic form of interrogative polarity is first seen in the Qin and Han Dynasties,and appeared much in the Ming Dynasty.The first form of the polarity of interrogative modal particle,additional negative polarity and the Verb deformation polarity is VP-NEG",Then,two different paths of evolution are generated,which include additional negative polarity and the Verb deformation polarity.With the delexicalization of end’s negative word of additional negative polarity,and then the polarity of the interrogative modal words is generated.Although the polarity of the verb has already appeared in the pre Qin period,it should belong to the use of a dialect at that time,until after the Ming Dynasty is widely used.The eighth chapter analyzes the use of various polarity in Henan dialect.The ninth chapter combines some modern literary works which can reflect the language features of Henan dialect,such as “Qiludeng ",this dissertation analyzes the syntactic features of the polarity of Henan dialect since eighteenth century,and compares it with the polarity of the Henan dialect,and combs the evolution process of the polarity of Henan dialect.The tenth chapter summarizes the full text.The conclusion of this dissertation is that the geographical distribution of different types of polarity in Henan dialect reflects different historical levels.As the strong dialect of Henan,the core of the Yellow River dialect spread to the neighboring areas,and the dialect of the border region has obvious transitional characteristics,which is closely related to the localhistory and language contact.
