Research On The Academic Inheritance And Innovation Of Zhou Zhongying’s Differentiation And Treatment Of Cervical And Ovarian Cancer

Objective:To explore Professor Zhou Zhongying’s clinical experience,academic thoughts and thinking methods in differentiating and treating cervical and ovarian cancer,and to reveal the similarities and differences between the two theories,methods,formulas and medicines,so as to make up for the lack of research on inheritance of cancer-related diseases;On the basis of inheritance,combined with my own learning experience,we preliminarily established the system of differentiation and treatment of cervical and ovarian cancer in TCM,in order to guide the clinical practice of TCM.Method:To collect clinical medical records of Professor Zhou Zhongying in treating cervical cancer and ovarian cancer from January 1996 to February 2015,use data mining technology to analyze medical records,excavate tacit knowledge,and compare the similarities and differences between cervical cancer and ovarian cancer in theory,method,prescription and medicine.Result:1.Among all the symptoms,dry mouth,heat,spontaneous sweating,constipation,pale complexion,fatigue,poor sleep are more prominent.Among the symptoms of Fre>0.1,cervical cancer and ovarian cancer showed"poor appetite","loose stool","abdominal pain"and"abdominal distension".Professor Zhou Zhongying explained the pathogenesis and location of symptoms,tongue and pulse basically in liver,kidney,lower coke,spleen and stomach.2.In summarizing the pathogenesis of cervical and ovarian cancer,the highest frequency is"deficiency of liver and kidney yin" and "deficiency of both qi and yin".The frequencies of deficiency of liver and kidney were 0.1444 and 0.1867 respectively,and the frequencies of deficiency of Qi and Yin were 0.0817 and 0.1202 respectively;Among the pathological factors of Fre>0.05,cervical cancer and ovarian cancer are generally the same,they are damp,blood stasis,toxic,heat and phlegm,but the highest frequency of cervical cancer is wet,frequency is 0.1853,ovarian cancer is blood stasis,frequency is 0.2455.3.The most commonly used drugs for both diseases are agrimony.In the medicines for strengthening the body,a large number of medicines such as Jiaobaizhu,Taizishen,Codonopsis pilosula,Ophiopogon japonicus,Dry lotus grass and Ligustrum lucidum were used to Nourish Qi and yin,nourish liver and kidney,and invigorate spleen and qi.Among the drugs for dispelling pathogens,the use of dispelling dampness,resolving phlegm,dispelling blood stasis,clearing away heat and detoxifying is obvious.Relatively speaking,in the treatment of cervical cancer,antipyretic and detoxifying drugs(such as anemarrhena asphodeloides,radix rehmanniae,cortex lycii,figwort,cynanchum atratum bge,hedyotis diffusa,scutellaria barbata,euphorbia japonica,geranium sibiricum,solanum nigrum)and moisturizing drugs(such as patrinia heterophylla,smilax officinalis,toona root bark,golden cypress,coix seed)are heavily used.And in the treatment of ovarian cancer,the drugs with the functions of eliminating phlegm and dispersing blood stasis(such as akebiae,curcuma zedoary,ranunculus ternate,pseudobulbus cremastrae seu pleiones,fried turtle shell)and dispersing Qi and blood stasis(such as pericarpium citri reticulatae viride,rhizoma curcumae longae concisa,the root of red-rooted salvia,lignum millettiae)are heavily used.In addition,cervical cancer reuses a variety of hemostatic drugs,including cooling blood and hemostasis,removing blood stasis and hemostasis,astringent hemostasis,nourishing blood and hemostasis.4.Reading relevant medical records,it was found that Professor Zhou Zhongying had learned a lot of modern medical knowledge and pharmacology knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine,that can be used in diagnosis of disease name and syndrome type,selection of meridians,evaluation of curative effect and prognosis judgement of anticancer and antidotes,etc in all aspects of differentiation and treatment in order to solve many clinical problems.5.In the exploration of establishing the system of differentiation and treatment of cervical and ovarian cancer in TCM,the clinical problems in differentiation and treatment of TCM are described in detail,involving etiology and pathogenesis,differential diagnosis,treatment principles,prescriptions,and efficacy evaluation,etc.Conclusion:1.Inheritance ResearchIn etiology and pathogenesis,deficiency of Qi and Yin and deficiency of liver and kidney are the main manifestations of ovarian cancer and cervical cancer,but ovarian cancer is more obvious than cervical cancer.In the pathogenesis of ovarian cancer and cervical cancer,spleen-stomach disharmony exists.Among the pathological factors,dampness,heat,phlegm,blood stasis and toxicity are the manifestations of both cancers,but dampness is the main manifestation of cervical cancer and blood stasis is the main manifestation of ovarian cancer.However,in the manifestation of complex pathogenesis,there are more cases of cervical cancer with Yin deficiency and fire exuberance,and the manifestations of heat,toxicity and dampness are obvious.In the treatment and selection of drugs,we usually adopt both rehabilitation and broad-area treatment.The treatment involves benefiting,removing dampness,detoxifying,clearing away heat,resolving phlegm and firmness,activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis,dispersing knots and detumescence,but not only strengthening,dispelling pathogens and regulating treatment.Fuzheng mainly focuses on nourishing liver and kidney,replenishing qi and nourishing yin;eliminating pathogens involves resolving phlegm and dispersing blood stasis,clearing heat and detoxifying toxins,promoting water and dehumidifying;regulating treatment involves protecting spleen and stomach,soothing liver and regulating qi,stopping bleeding and relieving suffering,improving the quality of life;in the treatment of ovarian cancer and cervical cancer,compound prescriptions of clearing heat and nourishing yin,removing dampness and detoxifying toxins are commonly used,while ovarian cancer is mostly used in resolving phlegm.Drugs for dispersing nodules and promoting qi and dispersing blood stasis.There are also some differences between ovarian cancer and cervical cancer in the selection of anti-cancer and detoxification drugs.Ovarian cancer drugs mostly belong to the liver meridian,while cervical cancer drugs mostly belong to the coke.Generally speaking,the frequency of commonly used drugs in cervical cancer is lower than that in ovarian cancer,which indicates that the drug selection of ovarian cancer is more concentrated.In addition,cervical cancer is often compatible with a variety of hemostatic drugs.Because of the particularity of the diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer and ovarian cancer,Professor Zhou Zhongying adopted the basic thinking skills of "intergratlng Chinese and Western Medicine"and "to make foreign things serve China",and creatively applied them to all aspects of diagnosis and treatment.2.Research on Innovation of Differentiation and Treatment SystemBased on the understanding of the author’s own learning experience and clinical experience,the author has made a detailed and systematic statement on the problems of differentiation and treatment of cervical and ovarian cancer in TCM,involving principles,methods,formulas and medicines,thus establishing a preliminary system of differentiation and treatment of cervical and ovarian cancer in TCM.
