The existing research results of mourning poetry are mostly confined to memorial poetry and elegy.A considerable majority of these results focus on one of the opinions,some scholar's article or the study of a special period.And some of these results are repeated discussion.And the model type theoretical achievements are quite rare.The studies about the poetry's style,style,rhyme,and the relevant cultural phenomena are especially weak.As a category of ancient Chinese poetry subjects,the Mourning Poetry reveals the most essential and antagonistic contradiction in the world-the contradiction of life and death.Therefore,the Mourning Poetry contains the most sincere and intense emotion,the most profound and complex ideas as well as the most abundant and diverse aesthetic connotation.That endow the Mourning Poetry special research value in the field of literature,stylistics,culture,methodology and the history of soul.This thesis takes the "Mourning Poetry from Early Qing dynasty to Tang dynasty and the Five Dynasties "as research object.Through interdisciplinary study,we divid into seven parts:Introduction,types,connotation and culture,style,art,writers and the conclusion,trying to show the overall style of poetry of Mourning Poetry from Early Qing dynasty to Tang dynasty and the Five Dynasties from longitudinal and transverse,internal and external,generality and individuality.Introduction:This chapter gives the definition of elegy through tracing to the source of "mourning",summarizes the research status of the elegy Pre Song Dynasty,makes clear research aim,research method and innovation.Chapter1:Type.It starts with the systematically outlining and summarizing each category of the object in Chinese literary history from these aspects:their developing progresses,their characteristics of connotation and their artistic characteristics.It also intercourse the Mourning Poetry with the method of Tracing to the Source,make clear that the social status of the morning object and the relation between the author and the morning object as well as the depth of their feeling decide its discourse strategy.The intimate relationship and the deep feelings lead to the expression of strongest grief and the literariness.Conversely,the poetry works will be mainly to express admiration,supplemented by grief.When the mourning object is the poet's husband,the poet would express her thoughts of love and devotion.When the mourning object is the poet's wife,the poet would express his great grief as well as his admiration.When the mourning object is the poet's concubine,the poetry will show the poet's praise to her beauty,her talent and her nature as well as the feeling of sorrow.The other Mourning Poetry also express the poets' grief and admiration to the dead.The Mourning Poetry for social intercourse are slightly inferior in artistic characteristics.From the view of expression effect,the Mourning Poetry for the dead share a deep relation with the poets are literary and impressive.While the Mourning Poetry for those noble with special lordship would show a stereotypical tendency.Chapter2:Connotation and culture.To investigate the rich and profound emotional connotation and the relationship with traditional culture caused by the death from different viewpoints,we explain the nature of death that is characterized by deprivation and looked finality,inevitability,universality,variability,unpredictability,ubiquitous as a secondary feature.In the face of the dead,survivors often contain many mixed feelings of sorrow,loneliness,longing,gratitude,regret,gratitude,compensation,compassion,pity and so on.Some mourning poems contain their homesick feelings and sentimentality of talent will not be reused while mourning the dead.Some poems expressed the irony of the ruling class,complaining about the fate and resentment and irony to the ways of the world.Then it discusses the traditional Chinese cultural of life and rich imagination with aesthetic value into the Mourning Poetry.Chapter 3:Genre.It introduces phonology theory,particularly the principle of Chinese pronunciation.It will explore the expression,functions,and aesthetic effect of Mourning Poetry from Early Qing dynasty to Tang dynasty and the Five Dynasties through the method of comparison.Different Mourning Poetry reflect different styles.Such as four words poems has transformed from speaking language to writing language,the poetry of Chu Song Genre's sense of plaintive,five words ancient poem and seven words poem's writing of simple and plain.The Lu Shi has a sense of elegance and solemn.Jue Ju has the feature of implicit.This thesis analyzes the main reason and the theory of language.The mournful emotion and the identity of person who was mourned both are key elements.Depending on these two elements,the writer choose the genre of poem.Generally speaking,the higher the person' identity who was mourned,the poets' way of express emotion would be much more implicit,and they will choose the mourning poem with neat metre.The five words mourning poem is much more expressive because of it has less rhythm and shorter sentences,and they often use "two-one-two" sentence structure which make the poem looks much neat and serious.Because of this reason,the five words mourning poem was often used to mourn those person who has elaborate identity.Five words mourning poem also owned large part of ancient mourning poems.Chapter 4:Art.It quotes the linguistic language to analyze the mourning poem's elegant and implicit characteristic.It used Yang rhyme and Yin thyme with"i?u?u" at the end.It also used the onomatopoetic words like“wuwuhengheng","yiyiwuwu","yuyuxuxu" to express the sound of moan and crying.It is a better way to express the sense of grief.Its model of lyric is implicit and indirect,which including six model which expresses the relationship of mourning and eulogizing and express the poets' emotion through scenery,things and dream,Bi Xing and direct expression of feelings,synthesis.The introduction of G.Leech's politeness principle and Hu Hsien Chin's politeness system is also conducive to explain the reason of Song Lyric set containing at most,pure AI type Lyric sleeve type at least and the first song after sorrow nested mainstream.Combinating of aesthetics,philosophy,religion,geography,physiology,psychology research,then it investigates the evolution progress of the object:The images shifted from the animal and plants to the historical stories,the Myths and the Legends.The quantity of the images used in the poets increased.And the connection method of the images also shifted from "Bi Xing" to antithesis.The aesthetic mood which could be defined as "Empty" contained multiple connotations like desolation,obscurity,quietness,chilliness,loneliness,nonentity,absurdness,tragedy,witticism and so on.It can attract the aesthetic subject with the empty frame effect,language with tension and the undemonstrative quality.Chapter 5:Author.It start from the perspective of case,select 10 representative poets for case studying,and advances that there are five factors that effecting the poets' achievements in the Mourning Poetry:the poets' high status in the society or in the literary world,the mourning objects' high status in the society,great ideological connotation with obviously truth or universality,fluent style or with a major breakthrough in types or forms,excellent skill and achievement in artistic aspect.Among all the poets,Du Fu and Yuan Zhen are two most outstanding representatives.Conclusion.This dissertation ends up with a summary of the research and the object's value of research in literature,stylistics,culture,methodology and the history of soul.
