Research On Living Circumstances Of Chinese Women In The Puppet Manchukuo Cities

In the period of the Puppet Manchukuo regime,the Chinese northeastern women were the most vulnerable group living under the Japanese imperialism cruel regime.They were bearing the weight of heavy pressures such as patriarchy,hegemony,power-regime,and suffering miseries caused by the poverty,disasters and wars.Long time seclusion of the Chinese northeast and the feudalism ethics bound up the Chinese women in the fetters of the traditional old morality system,the colonists' invasion and the fascist regime brought the Chinese women into the deformed �modernization� progress further more.The Chinese women lived in this tough history,especially the Chinese women in the northeastern enemy-ocuppied cities,their ideology and behavior paradigms were strongly impacted,their sex role,family role and social role all undergone unprecedented changes.We can describe the realistic picture of the Chinese women's living circumstances in the enemy-ocuppied cities,and recover the true hard life they lived in the misery,and show their strong struggling spirit when they encountered with the feudal forces and colonial forces,by back-tracking the history in a multi-aspect,multi-dimensional,omni-directional way.The intensive study and analyses on the Chinese women's living circumstances in the occupied cities can bring out the true people's livelihood and the culture ecology of the complex historical environment at that time.More important,we can expose the true face of the Japanese cruel colonial regime in the puppet Manchukuo,and their historic lies of the so-called �to construct Manchukuo�,and �to revive east Asia�.This thesis includes eight parts:Introduction: To introduce the research status,the significance of the subject,material resources,the thesis' structure,and to define some concepts.Chapter One: To introduce the life background of the Chinese women in the northeastern cities before the September 8th Incident,and investigate the female population proportion and its distribution,and the life way changes of the northeastern women and their ideological educations from modern times.Chapter Two: To state the ideological educations of the Chinese women in puppet Manchukuo cities,and analyses the �benevolent women� education policy guided by the �benevolent doctrine� of the Japanese regime,exposes the connotation and true meaning of their so-called �dutiful wife and good mother�doctrine,�new women�doctrine;this part also gives a comprehensive introduction of the female education system guided by the colonism enslavement policy,sorts the policy and its content of the school education,social education and family education of the female,and anatomize the colonism truth,the obscurantism and enslavement purpose of the female education implemented by the Japanese regime.Chapter Three: To anatomize the organizations and activities of the Chinese women in the puppet Manchukuo cities,and introduce the organization process of the Manchukuo women,including the establishment and merging of the Japanese regime's Three Women Groups from Two System,and their supports for the non-governmental women groups.This part also analyses the organization control and behavior control implemented by Japanese regime for the Chinese northeastern women by manipulating the women groups,which exposes their colonism conspiracy to take the Chinese women for backing up the Japanese aggression war.Chapter Four: To introduce the employment status of the Chinese women in puppet Manchukuo cities,and compare the public opinions for the female employments,and the variation trend of the female occupations of different period.Through the subdivision of types of the female occupations,the thesis analyses the characteristics of the female occupations under the colonism regime,therefore,which proves that the Japanese regime took the Chinese women into the colonism labor system,and gave Chinese women much deeper exploitation and oppression.Chapter Five: To anatomize the life ways of the Chinese women in the Manchurian cities,and analyse the ideological guiding by Japanese regime for the Chinese women in the fields such as marriage and childbearing view,family view,social view,and aesthetic standard,which exposes the Japanese colonists' attempt to confine the Chinese women by feudal traditional morals and assimilate the Chinese women by the Japan values.Through the investigation and analysis into many great changes of family life,social life,clothes and makeup of the Chinese women,the thesis on the one hand,recovers the true life pictures of the Chinese women in the puppet Manchukuo cities,on the other hand,shows the historical truth of the Japanese fascism regime in the northeast of China.Chapter Six: To sketch the resistance and struggle of the Chinese women in the Manchukuo cities.It states the pain,forbearing,reactive resistance and proactive struggle of the Chinese women from different social classes,and shows the nationalism sentiments of the Chinese women when they were confronted with life calamities and national peril.Conclusion: To summarize the Chinese women's life circumstances in the Puppet Manchukuo cities.Try to make it clear that their social value and historical functions of this group in the particular historical period,and their reference significance to modern sociaty.
