A reexamination of 'The Structure of Scientific Revolution' and application: The rise of mathematical economics

I propose to reexamine the works of History of Science writers, specifically Thomas S. Kuhn. Kuhn's theory is susceptible to contradiction when applied to itself. Is "The Structure of Scientific Revolution" nothing more than a scientific revolution itself within the field of the history of science? Kuhn's theory is itself both on analytic foundations and incomplete. A defense of a synthetic foundation for the theory of scientific revolution will be put forth. This theory will bring the history of science into economics. This theory will be applied to the rise of mathematical economics and relate it to the growth of government and corporate institutions in the United States.
