Study On Charge Pick-up Reaction Of Heavy Ions With Intermediate And High Energy

Based on the analysis of the dependence of charge pick-up cross sections of high energy heavy ions in different energy regions on the projectile nuclear mass,target nuclear mass and energy of projectiles,the charge pick-up cross sections of56Fe with the highest energy of 497 A MeV and 84Kr with the highest energy of 395 A MeV on Al,C and CH2targets have been studied by CR-39 nuclear detector,respectively,the charge pick-up cross sections of 12C with the highest energy of 398A MeV on C,CH2,AL,Cu and Pb targets are studied.For the charge pick-up cross section of 56Fe with the highest energy of 497 A MeV on Al,C and CH2targets,it was found that in the energy we studied,the cross section of charge pick-up reaction depends on the mass of target nucleus AT,and the cross section increases with the increase of AT.By fitting the measured data with the functions (?),the strong dependence on the AT(b31.0)is obtained,which is different from that observed in the heavier projectile with higher beam energy.For the charge pick-up cross section of 84Kr with the highest energy of 395 A MeV on Al,C and CH2targets,it was found that in the energy we studied,the cross section of charge pick-up reaction depends on the mass of target nucleus AT,and the cross section increases with the increase of AT.By fitting the measured data with the functions (?),the strong dependence on the AT(b31.0)is obtained,which is different from that observed in the heavier projectile with higher beam energy.For the charge pick-up cross section of 12C on C,CH2,Al,Cu,Pb targetswith the highest energy of 398 A MeV,it was found that the cross section of charge pick-up reaction depends on the AT,and the cross section increases with the increasing AT.By fitting the experimental results with the power functions (?)and the linear function (?),the linear function relationship between the charge pickup reaction cross section and the target mass can better simulate our data.
