Artificial Intelligence,Cyborg And(post) Humanism

With the emergence of a new round of technological revolution,the convergence of nanotechnology,biotechnology,information technology and cognitive science makes the future-oriented technologies represented by Artificial Intelligence and Cyborg develop and evolve rapidly,and the concepts of man-machine gaming and manmachine integration gradually move from science fiction to reality.The concepts of human-machine game and human-machine integration gradually move from science fiction to reality.Alpha Go,autonomous driving,GPT-3 natural language processing model-artificial intelligence continues to invade and challenge the domain that was originally exclusive to humans;bionic hands,brain implanted electrodes and "smart drugs"-various enhancement and transformation technologies have deepened the transformation from human to Cyborg.In the face of such a round of intelligent technology shocks,Stephen Hawking,Elon Musk,Bill Gates and other technological opinion leaders have repeatedly expressed worries,and many scholars engaged in scientific work have also seconded.At the same time,under the impact of the technological culture thoughts,the traditional humanistic view that humans are above everything has been gradually broken,and concepts such as "transhuman" and "posthuman" have also returned to people's vision.Our understanding of time and space,the world and even ourselves has changed greatly because of the close relationship between human beings and technology.Therefore,when we are thinking about the future of human beings,we cannot help asking the ancient and fundamental question of "what is technology for human beings".Based on this,the two main tasks of this thesis are: 1.the analysis of contemporary technologies represented by artificial intelligence and cyborg,including their historical origin,conceptual clarification,type discrimination,as well as to respond to the public concerns brought by them;2.the discussion of contemporary technological culture thoughts represented by anthropocentrism,transhumanism and posthumanism,including their overall genealogy,interrelationships and specific connotations,as well as to analyze their answers to the problems related to human and technology.On the whole,this thesis starts from the contemporary technology,then goes deep into the discussion of contemporary technological culture thoughts,and finally returns to the reflection on contemporary technology.It follows a reflexive cognitive process of "practice-theory-practice".The first chapter of this thesis starts with the shock of man-machine gaming and the impact of man-machine integration.It points out the representatives of contemporary technology —— Artificial Intelligence and Cyborg.At the same time,this chapter summarizes the overall structure and research focus of the full text.The second chapter provides a comprehensive analysis of the history,present and future of AI and Cyborg,and focuses on AI threat theory and the evolution of Cyborg,trying to provide a clear overview and interpretation.The third chapter is the key chapter connecting the preceding with the following.On the one hand,this chapter describes the possible picture of posthuman society brought by Artificial Intelligence and Cyborg technology,and summarizes the dual relationship between human beings and technology.On the other hand,this chapter completes the perspective transformation from contemporary technology to contemporary technological culture thoughts,and elaborates on the Genealogy I of contemporary technological culture thoughts which regards technology as the key or even the only force of human development.In the fourth chapter,based on the criticism and reflection of the "positive argument" Genealogy I,we propose the corresponding "negative argument" ——Genealogy II of contemporary technological culture thoughts.The fifth chapter puts forward a “combined argument” based on the sublation of Genealogy I and Genealogy II —— Genealogy III of contemporary technological culture thoughts: posthumanism.After completing the discussion on the genealogy of technological culture thoughts,in the sixth chapter,we return to contemporary technology,and give a rational analysis and response to the current Artificial Intelligence Threat Theory and the view that Cyborg will surpass human beings.Finally,in the conclusion part of this thesis,we will make a general summary of the full text,by clarifying the argumentation of each chapter,the context between chapters and the main purpose of the full text.After this retrospective work,we will re-start from the concept of "Anthropocene" to re-examine and look forward to the future possibility of the dual relationship between human and technology.
