Thoughts On Artificial Intelligence And Virtual Society From The Angle Of Philosophy

Since the fast development of Artificial Intelligence brings changes to human and social development, a philosophical study of it would help to guide the practice of human beings and make it a drive of social development. In the thesis, a deep philosophical study of Artificial Intelligence and its result Virtual Society is made. The outcome of the study shows that Artificial Intelligence is an inevitable result with the changes of human thoughts as to the aspects of its focuses, methods and contents and that Artificial Intelligence richens and enhances the development of dialectical materialism and dialectics and deepens human understanding of epistemology. Meanwhile, The development of Artificial Intelligence creates a new world for human beings——Virtual Society; thus, it is understood as the evolution of Karl Reimund Popper's World III. Virtual Society brings chances as well as challenges to the construction of morality. Therefore, it is urgent and of vital importance to establish a Virtual Society's moral correctness system that meets the requirement of social development. Only when the universality of social morality and the peculiarity of Virtual Society are united, the Artificial Intelligence technology and Virtual Society would become the positive drives of human development.
