Study On Evolutionary Mechanism Of Safety Behavior Of Construction Workers Based On Social Network

Construction industry is one of the five pillar industries to promote economic development of our country.However,in the view of the current development of the construction industry,more and more safety problems continue to occur with the development and expansion of the construction industry.Scholars study the methods and strategies to improve the safety level of construction from different perspectives in order to provide suggestions for safety practice.Different from general production activities,construction activities are characterized by multifarious production links,multiple participation of professional teams and unstable construction sites,etc.Construction project presents a network structure centered on the project department and coordinated by multiple professional teams at the management level.Inside the team is to form a network structure in which workers collaborate with each other.In recent years,scholars have paid more and more attention to the influence of social networks on individual behavior and performance,but there are few researches on the use of social network in building construction safety.Due to the characteristics of construction work,multiple types of work and assembly line construction are needed.Therefore,construction personnel of different types of work gather in a construction site to work.Construction workers may be affected by the relationship between workers or the surrounding environment.And being the most important component of construction project,the members of each construction team will form a network of relationshipsHowever,no in-depth research has been conducted on what social network mode and structure can effectively improve the safety behavior of workers.Different social networks are accompanied by different structural characteristics.Whether the structural characteristics of the social network formed by the construction workers in the team will have a positive impact on the improvement of the safety behavior of the construction workers is the main content of this paper.To study the safety behavior of construction personnel,introduction of social network theory,this paper adopts literature analysis,case study,regression analysis and other methods,using the method of case study to explore more found there is a work based on the relationship between construction team members of the formal social networks and informal social network based on the relationship of life,and found the centricity characteristics of the social network has influence to the workers’ safety behavior level,safety communication in social network as the carrier,social networks,to verify the effectiveness of the proposed construction personnel safety communication and behavior of preliminary conceptual model,and according to the result of case analysis,Combined with literature analysis,the research hypothesis is put forward.In order to validate the proposed research hypotheses were analyzed,in this paper,preparation of the questionnaire to collect data,according to the collected data,and the social group using Ucinet software to draw a network diagram,and calculating the disposition characteristic value,on this basis,the use of multiple regression analysis method of the empirical analysis of the social network centricity characteristics and the relationship between the workers’ safety behavior,the intermediary role of communication and security;Finally,a multi-agent simulation model based on Netlogo software platform was used to simulate and analyze the influence of dynamic changes of social network centrality characteristics on the level of safety communication and safety behavior among construction personnel.Combined with the above research results,relevant suggestions were put forward for construction enterprises to improve the level of safety behavior.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The centrality characteristics of the formal and informal social networks of construction workers have different effects on the construction workers’safety behavior.Degree centrality of formal social networks has a significant positive effect on safety participation behavior of construction workers.Closeness centrality has a significant positive effect on the safety compliance behavior and safety participation behavior.Betweenness centrality has no effect on the safety behavior of construction workers.The degree centrality of informal social network has a significant effect on the safety behavior,while closeness centrality and betweenness centrality have no effect on the safety behavior.(2)The centrality of formal social network and informal social network has an impact on the safety behavior of construction workers through the mediating role of safety communication.In the formal social network,degree centrality and closeness centrality have a significant role in promoting safety communication,degree centrality affect safety compliance behavior via partial mediating role of safety communication,and degree centrality and closeness centrality impact safety participation behavior via complete mediating role of safety communication.In the informal social network,only degree centrality plays a significant role in promoting the safety communication among construction personnel.Degree centrality influences safety compliance through complete mediation of safety communication,)and has an impact on safety participation behavior through the partial mediating effect of safety communication.(3)The dynamic changes of formal social network and informal social network centrality have different effects on the safety behavior of construction workers.The dynamic change of centrality eigenvalue of formal social network and informal social network has a significant positive effect on the improvement of safety behavior of construction workers,and the influence of the dynamic change of centrality characteristic of formal network is greater than that of informal network.The change of the centrality of formal social network has a significant positive effect on the level of safety communication of the construction workers,while the change of the centrality of informal social network has no significant effect on the level of safety communication of the construction workers.The change of the centrality of formal social network has no significant effect on the centrality of informal social network,and vice versa.The change of the centrality of informal social network has no significant effect on the centrality of formal social network.
