At present,China is facing the situation of being "stuck" by foreign countries in high-end chip manufacturing, aircraft engine and other high-tech fields.Scientific cooperation between enterprises and universities and scientific research institutions is becoming more and more important.Under the background that the national science and technology policy pushes basic research to a strategic height, how to use scientific knowledge to improve the efficiency of technological innovation, grasp the opportunity of the new round of industrial revolution, and achieve leapfrog development is of great importance to the development of various industries.Due to the complexity and high risk of scientific research and the complexity and uncertainty of technological research and development, individual enterprises cannot bear the consequences of scientific research and innovation failure,so they have to join the scientific cooperation network.Scientific cooperation network is an important channel for enterprises to obtain external resources and scientific knowledge. In order to obtain sustainable competitive advantages and key resources that are difficult for competitors to copy,it is particularly important for enterprises to grasp the direction of future research development and participate in scientific cooperation network to improve their technological innovation performance. How enterprises embedded in the scientific cooperation network use the social capital acquired and accumulated from the network to improve their own technological innovation performance is the foothold and ultimate goal of this study. There have been studies on the social capital of scientific cooperation networks, most of which use questionnaires to obtain data, which adds more subjectivity to the studies. In addition to carrying out empirical research by collecting objective data of biomedical industry, this study also assisted in theoretical analysis and game model analysis,so as to carry out a richer discussion on the mechanism of social capital in scientific cooperation network influencing enterprise technological innovation performance. Therefore, this paper focuses on the impact of social capital of scientific cooperation network on technological innovation performance of enterprises, mainly including the following four aspects:(1)Model construction of the impact of social capital of scientific cooperation network on technological innovation performance of enterprises.Based on knowledge base theory and social network theory, this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of relational capital, structural capital and cognitive capital of scientific cooperation network on firm’s technological innovation performance.Based on this,a mathematical model of the influence of social capital on technological innovation performance in the scientific cooperation network is constructed, and the state of social capital input by the members of the scien tific cooperation network is analyzed under the maximum output of scientific cooperation, and the choice of social capital input by the members of the scientific cooperation network is analyzed through the game model. Then, the previous net Shapley value model is referenced to analyze the condition for optimizing the scale of the scientific cooperation network, that is,the dynamic equilibrium state of the number of member partners, and the key variable that has an important influence on the output of the s cientific cooperation network is partner dynamics. Finally, three conceptual models of the direct effect of social capital in scientific cooperation network on firm’s technological innovation performance, the mediating effect of firm partner dynamics and t he moderating effect of proximity are proposed respectively.(2)Research on the direct impact of social capital of scientific cooperation network on firm technological innovation performance. The relationship breadth and relationship intensity are used to measure the relationship capital of the scientific cooperation network, the structure hole is used to measure the structure capital of the scientific cooperation network, and the cooperation years are used to measure the cognitive capital of the scientific cooperation network.Taking biomedical engineering industry in China as the research object,a scientific cooperation network is constructed based on the cooperation data of the paper, and the research hypothesis is empirically tested by combining the data of enterprise invention patent and nature data. The results show that the relationship capital, structural capital and cognitive capital of the scientific cooperation network have a positive effect on the firm’s technological innovation performance.(3)From the perspective of enterprise partner dynamics, the mediating role of partner stability and scalability is discussed. The empirical research shows that corporate partner stability and extensibility is scientific cooperation network on the impact of social capital on enterprise technology innovation performance intermediary factors, among them, corporate partner stability and extensibility in scientific collaboration network relationship breadth, strength of complete mediation effect between the influence of the technological innovation performance,It also plays a partial mediating role between the structural capital of science cooperation network and the impact of the cognitive capital of science cooperation network on the performance of technology innovation.(4)Considering the proximity between partners, the moderating effects of geographic proximity and organizational proximity were investigated. The results show that geographic proximity positively moderates the impact of the breadth and intensity of scientific cooperation networks on firms’ technological innovation performance, and positively moderates the impact of structural capital and cognitive capital of scientific cooperation networks on firms’ technological innovation performance.Organizational proximity negatively moderates the effects of network relationship breadth and structural capital on firm’s technological innovation performance, while organizational proximity positively moderates the effects of network relationship strength and cognitive capital on firm’s technological innovation performance. In this study, the biomedical engineering industry was selected as the research sample, and the patent data and cooperative paper data of biomedical engineering industry in 16 years were collected and matched, respectively,to provide data experience for exploring the impact of scientific cooperation on technological innovation.Based on the research perspective of social capital and corporate partner dynamics, this paper proposes the influence path of "social capital of scientific cooperation network--corporate partner dynamics--technological innovation performance",and studies the moderating effect of proximity between cooperative organizations. The final conclusion can expand the resear ch on enterprises’ participation in scientific cooperation network, acquisition and accumulation of social capital, technological innovation performance and other aspects, and also has a certain guiding significance for enterprise management practice. In t he process of the development of scientific cooperation network,it provides decision-making reference for enterprises on how to dynamically select partners and how to effectively manage network members with different adjacency to improve the performance o f technological innovation. At the same time,it also provides policy suggestions for constructing scientific cooperation network to improve enterprises’ innovation ability.
