| The main body of the paper is divided into three parts:the first part, the middle part and the second part.In the first part, based on the regional differences of literature, drawing on the location theory of human geography and summarizing the research results of literary geography, the paper puts forward the literary location theory for the first time, which includes the concepts of literary location, literary micro-location,literary location conditions, literary location factors and the spatial structure of literary location, and the paper discusses the differences between literary location theory and location theory, the basic characteristics of literary location, and the theoretical value of literary location theory.Literary location theory is a theory about literary location. It mainly studies the characteristics and causes of the spatial distribution of literary activities,as well as the relationship between the spatial distribution and literature.Based on the theory of literary location, the paper introduces the concept of "scale" into the study of literary geography, focusing on the concept of literary micro-location,and holds that literary micro-location can effectively integrate "literature in space" and "space in literature" based on the specific micro geographical environment,so as to make up for the shortcomings of current research in literary geography. The middle part is entitled "poetry and proses in space:a quantitative study on the literary micro-location of Tiger Hill area in Qing Dynasty".In the paper,Suzhou in Qing Dynasty is regarded as a large space system, which is divided into nine secondary spaces, such as the Tiger Hill area. Then, using the method of typical investigation,387 writers of four categories, including Suzhou native, subordinate counties, residence and officials, are selected from the collection of poems and essays in Qing Dynasty, and the spatial distribution statistics of Suzhou poems and essays are made. The synchronic analysis of the statistical data shows that Tiger Hill area in Qing Dynasty has obvious literary micro-location advantage in Suzhou spatial system, which is reflected in three aspects:the spatial distribution of poetry, the spatial distribution of writers, the average and median of the number of poems created by writers. The diachronic analysis of the statistical data also shows that the literary micro-location advantage of Tiger Hill area experienced a significant change from general to prominent, and then to decline in the early, middle and late Qing Dynasty. From the point of view of literary micro-location condition, the literary micro-location advantage of Tiger Hill area in Suzhou spatial system of Qing Dynasty is closely related to its geographic resources, specific content, popularity, location characteristics, traffic conditions and other factors. The second part is entitled "space in poetry and proses:a qualitative study of the literary micro-location in Tiger Hill area of Qing Dynasty".The paper reveals the multiple interaction between literature and geography by interpreting the poetry texts of Tiger Hill area in Qing Dynasty.First of all,the geographical location of the north and the south makes Tiger Hill area evolve into a symbolic geographical image which is separated from the actual environmental characteristics and represents the separation in the poetry of Qing Dynasty, and the poetry shows the unique transcendence of the writer’ s vision and the openness of space.Secondly, under the influence of Zhangji’s "Mooring by Maple Bridge at Night",the writers of Qing Dynasty formed a kind of "perception orientation" when they visited Fengqiao and Hanshan Temple,so that Fengqiao and Hanshan Temple became the typed geographical images in their poems.Thirdly, the three meetings held in Chongzhen injected unique political, historical and cultural connotations into the Tiger Hill. After the change of the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, the members of the Qing Dynasty’s Fu society, whether the poets of the adherents or the officials of the Qing Dynasty, all showed the sadness of national subjugation in their poems. The common artistic feature of these poems is to write sadness with beautiful scenery. In addition, the Qing Dynasty writers’literary writing of historic sites such as the tomb of Helu,Sword pool,Shenggong rostrum,Tomb of zhenniang,Tomb of five people, and Pavilion of Miss Du Fu shows that human geographical resources can influence the creation and dissemination of poetry, and poetry can also enrich the cultural connotation of geographical resources, sometimes in the real world, poetry even has a negative effect on geographical resources. At last, the Qing Dynasty’s poems and essays on the folk customs and the business in Tiger Hill area, such as enjoying the moon,playing,Dragon-boat racing, flower market, etc.,show that Tiger Hill area has a variety of geographical environment characteristics, such as city, mountain forest, countryside, etc.,forming the diversity of the theme of poems and essays. The first part focuses on theoretical research, the middle part focuses on empirical research, and the second part focuses on explanatory research. The second part and the middle part of the paper are the examples to demonstrate the pivotal position of Tiger Hill area in Suzhou space system from the perspective of literary micro-location theory. At the same time, the second part and the middle part of the paper are also the application and verification of the related concepts and theories of literary location and literary micro-location put forward by the first part. |
