Study On Vocabulary And Regional Culture In Guyuan Dialect

Guyuan City is located in the southern mountainous area of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,at the intersection of Shaanxi,Gansu and Ningxia provinces,and is the largest Hui colony in China.Guyuan dialect is mainly the Central Plains Mandarin.Since Guyuan is a sub-central city of Ningxia Province,its dialect is also the representative of the dialect of southern Ningxia region,so it is particularly important for the study of Guyuan dialect.The research of Guyuan dialect has a certain foundation,and many achievements belong to the phonetic research,while grammar and vocabulary are not much involved,and it is rare to do systematic linguistics on the vocabulary of Guyuan dialect and few to study Guyuan dialect from the perspective of cultural linguistics.Starting from Guyuan dialect vocabulary,Guyuan dialect vocabulary is combined with regional culture,and the dialect vocabulary views its regional culture.The paper has ten chapters,and the first chapter is the clue part,which mainly sorts out the history of the vocabulary research of Guyuan dialect,clarifies the current research situation,and explains the research purpose,significance,theory,method and corpus source of this paper.The last chapter is the concluding section.The main content has eight chapters,divided into two links:the first link is the first,second,three and four chapters.In Guyuan dialect vocabulary as the research object,the dialect survey vocabulary manual detailed table 1900 dialect vocabulary,as the blueprint on the basis of fieldwork,list more complete and systematic Guyuan dialect vocabulary,and on this basis,from the perspective of time and duration,compare and describe Guyuan dialect vocabulary,explore the characteristics and rules of Guyuan dialect vocabulary.At the common time level,combined with modern linguistics theory and lexical theory,we make horizontal comparison with Mandarin,highlighting the existence of speech and morphological constructs in terms of word construction in Guyuan dialect.Guyuan dialect shows the characteristics of different meaning,synonymous width,narrow shape meaning,and different forms.In the process of the development of Guyuan dialect and the contact of other dialects,a large number of synonyms reflect the delicate and appropriate expression of Guyuan dialect,and also highlight the vocabulary characteristics with unique regional characteristics.In terms of diachronistic level,using literature research and comparative methods,we investigated the sources of Guyuan dialect of more than 2,000 years,inherited ancient words,preserved ancient words,ancient vernacular words,absorb borrowed words from other ethnic minorities,and can also create new words according to the needs of communication.The study of the etymology of Guyuan dialect is not only to investigate the source,meaning and changes of some Guyuan dialect words,but also to discuss the driving factors that form this meaning,and more importantly,to investigate the context and law of its evolution.In addition,another way of vocabulary evolution is the study of Guyuan dialect contact and variation,in the long historical process,summarize the type of Guyuan dialect contact,variation is roughly "hybrid,staggered,island" three,different contact types,produced the Guyuan dialect "regional variant" and "national variant".The second link,including the fifth,sixth,seventh and eighth chapters of the thesis,focuses on the research of vocabulary and cultural linguistics of Guyuan dialect.Language and culture are symbiotic and interdependent,and the learning and research of Guyuan dialect vocabulary cannot be separated from its cultural background.Dialect diet,administrative villages place names and dialect appellation that the most close to people’s daily life are selected for in-depth research.Understand Guyuan geographical culture,ethnic and religious culture,traditional family culture and psychological culture through the dietary words in Guyuan dialect.Through the thorough study of the place names of Guyuan administrative village,we can understand the cultural features of the geographical features,Liupanshan ecology,long history,ancient military horse politics,clan,local economy,ethnic psychology and other aspects.Through the study of Guyuan appellation,it reflects the orderly concept of hierarchy,other clan culture,the gender differences between men respecting women,the traditional concept of diligence and frugality,and the feudal residual psychology of respecting officials.It also explores the historical correlation between Guyuan dialect contact,variation and the Yellow River culture connotation.The last chapter is the conclusion.The basic view of the full text is summarized and presents the difficulties encountered in the investigation and writing process,as well as the problems to be deeply studied and future research directions.In general,this paper focuses on showing the appearance,characteristics and the development and changes of Guyuan dialect vocabulary,and deeply excavates the regional culture and traditional culture contained in the vocabulary of Guyuan dialect.It is hoped that the research of this article can open up a new field for the research of Guyuan dialect，find a new way for the regional culture research of Guyuan,and provide a certain reference value for the cultural linguistic research of the mandarin dialect area of the Central Plains.
