In recent years, the k-out-of-n repairable system is one of the more popular and important systems models in Reliability mathematics in both at home and abroad. It has a wide range of applications in the satellite relay communications system and other engineering fields. This article has discussed k-out-of-n repairable system by using general theory of the reliability and stochastic process, it consists of four chapters.Chapterâ… is preface. We introduced the foliation, development of the Reliability mathematics. And in this paper are introduced the new ideas. In the second chapter, we introduced the theory and research method of the Reliability mathematics. The third chapter researched a circular consecutive-2-out-of-n:F repairable system with priority in repair. Assuming that system has only one repairman, both the working time and the repair time of a component are exponentially distributed. The repairman assigned different priorities to the failed components. Through the analysis of the system and get some important reliability index of the system by using the general Markov process and the tool of the Laplace transform. In fourth chapter, We discussed a consecutive n-1-out-of-n:G repairable systems with multiple vacations of a repairman. Assuming that the working time is exponentially distributed, the repair time of a component and vacation time of the repairman have all general distributed. We use the supplementary variable technique, the tool of the Laplace transform and get some important reliability index of the system, such as reliability, availability. The last chapter are conclusion and prospect, We introduced the conclusion of k-out-of-n repairable system and the problem to solve of research direction is discussed in this paper.
