The multifunctional drilling machine will be able to rationally achieve the efficiency of complex strata, and this drilling, avoiding using different kinds of drilling machines to adapt corresponding drilling methods, can be used in different working venues and various working conditions to carry out geologic exploration and engineering construction. Graphing method, a method of low efficiency, large calculated amount and poor accuracy, is the traditional design technique of this type of mechanical equipment. Programming method may have a higher calculated accuracy, but poor procedure universality, large debugging quantity, and unguaranteed reliability. With the growing sophistication of CAE technology, virtual prototype technology will be widely used, and this paper aims to use virtual prototype technology to accomplish the multifunctional drilling machine's design, modeling, and simulation analysis and design optimization. The paper's main content is as follows:â… .To draw up the multifunctional drilling machine's overall design scheme and expected design parameters. According to the design requirements, the technicians should respectively analyze and calculate the power equipment head device, guide frame system, and luffing mechanism of multifunctional drilling machine's working device, and lay out the specific parts; use a computer graphics software to complete the work device parts'modeling and institutions assembly.â…¡.To draw up design variables of multifunctional drilling machine's luffing mechanism, to set up the simplified modeling of the luffing mechanism by ADAMS, and to carry out the dynamic simulation. Each important curve graph of hinge point stress can be obtained and the aim of mechanism optimization can be nailed down by simulating the drill's luffing process under different working conditions.â…¢.To find out the limitation of mechanism design, then optimize the limitation to get the optimization solution of design variables and adjust parts design accordingly in the light of hydraulic cylinder piston's hinge point stress of simulation analysis of drill's luffing mechanism. The technicians can lead multifunctional drilling machine's working device which has optimized in ADMAS, then finish the modeling of multi-body system. It can verify the correctness of virtual prototype modeling that restricting and exerting load and drive to multi-body-model's creation, analyzing dynamic simulation, and gaining all important parameter variation curve.â…£.To make static analysis about the guide frame of drill's working device by finite element analysis software to get the stress and displacement distribution from guide frame, to find out stress focus and main strain area, and to offer evidence of the later design to guide frame's improvement; to conduct model analysis of the guide frame to extract the inherent frequency and vibration model of guide frame when in level position and get more intuitive conclusion, to provide evidence for optimizing the guide frame institutions, and to make clear what is the drill's danger frequency during working process to avoid the occurrence of resonance phenomenon.This paper is aimed at applying virtual prototype technology to try to achieve design research of multifunctional drilling machine's working device. And the obvious advantages of virtual prototype technology lie in having shortened the development cycle of product, having saved the cost of prototype, and having given reference significance to trial-production and performance testing of this drill's physical sample.
