H—P oil region is located in the middle of Erdos Basin.H—P oil region is the extending the main oil block of Xingzichuan production factory. This oil region has been developed today.Chang6 reservoir is one of main producing pay.So research the flow unit of Chang6 reservoir is so important. This paper first discuss the stratigraphy and associated the logging data, and then use the clustering method to divide the flow unit of Chang6 reservior. At last find out the best reservoir in this area. In this research, the main results obtained are as follows:1. By the correlation of strata, we put Chang 6 reservoir into Chang61, Chang62, Chang63, Chang 64 four section, and determine the scope of each reservoir section and the top and bottom interface.2. From the point of view of sedimentology, associate with experimental data, the lithologic character of Chang6 reservoir are sandstone. The size characteristic are mainly type of 2section and 3section.The precipitation facies are delta parfacies.3. In the reservoir aspect, the type of rock in Chang 6 reservoir are mainly lithin arkose, and the type of pore are intergranalar pore. The mean radius of pore throat between 50~80μm,the pore range of Chang6 reservoir between 8.8-10.9%;the mean permeability between 0.7~1.53×10-3μm2.4. By analysis of logging and core data, the use the clustering method, and associated the FZI index, devided Chang 6 of H244 oil wells into E, G, M, P four part of flow units. The E-type flow unit is one of the best reservoir in the research area.5. Based on the research of H244 well flow unit, and refer to the data of several wells, just like log data, core data and finished the forecast flow unit between wells.
