Reservoir fluid units are kinds of reservoir rock mass distributed continuously in three-dimension space at various level from Macro to microcosmic which have similar rock characteristics influencing fluid flow and filtering attributes of the fluid itself. The study and division of flow units could be used to judge reservoir reasonably and further predict the distribution of reservoir.Based on depth survey of reservoir flow units research methods, The paper takes ShiheziⅢformation for an example of flow units research.The paper takes ShiheziⅢformation for an example of flow units research which is based on the throughout survey of division measures home and abroad,according to exhaustive well log data from former research results proposes flow units division of Xiashihezi gas reservoir with the method of mutiple-parameters cluster.Partitioning results mainly take the absolute open flow for the the division standard, clustering parameter selection: porosity (Φ), permeability (K),gas saturation (Sg), net/gross ratio (NTG), volumetric coefficient (ΦH), flow capacity (KH) and mid-value radius (R50);The paper mainly take the absolute open flow after fracturing for the the division standard, the absolute open flow which is greater than 10×104m3 is I class of reservoir fluid units, the absolute open flow in 5-10×104m3 isⅡclass of reservoir fluid units, the absolute open flow in 0.5-5×104m3 isⅢclass of reservoir fluid units, the absolute open flow which is less than 0.5×104m3 isⅣclass of reservoir fluid units, and the paper undertake similar clustering, make the flow of each layer take the same standard unit division, calculate the related parameters of the correlation coefficient in accordance with the corresponding every little layer, and establish discriminant equation, to the wells with no absolute open flow and classify them into four types.The same type of flow unit has similar infiltrating features in which the porosity and permeability vary within certain limit while the difference of porosity and permeability is remarkable among different flow units. The results of flow units division show that: class I reservoir fluid unit is the best flow unit type, it has stronger aeolotropism. ClassⅡreservoir fluid unit is the middle flow units type, the development of mudstone intercalation is the moderate, it mainly distributes in river near main sides and it has moderate type of throat. ClassⅢreservoir fluid unit is the less flow units type and the mudstone interlayer develops. Its porosity and permeability are relatively poor. The types of throat belong to fine roar micro roar. ClassⅣreservoir fluid unit is mainly the sedimentary microfacies of natural barrier, it has stronger content of mudstone.Comparing the different randomized methods sequential gaussian simulation method is mainly used in the simulation for geological phenomena, such as the distribution of porosity, permeability, and based on the application of the front division box model in H3 flow units analysis and forecast reservoir aeolotropism and provide a dependable basis for the reservoir description.
