China Geodetic Coordinate System 2000(CGCS2000) is started using in China since the year of 2008, and various coordinate products of surveying and mapping based on old coordinate system need to be transformed to CGCS2000. In this dissertation, the theory and application service on grid coordinate transformation has been studied after the analysis on the transformation to CGCS2000 of the existing surveying and mapping products. The main contents and innovations of this dissertation are as following:1. The characteristic of coordinate transformation models which are often used is analysed, grid based coordinate transformation is discussed on its reasonable application in our country, and it is also pointed out the important meaning of studying on the method and application of grid trandformation.2. The change trend for the longitude, latitude and Gauss plane coordinate are analysed according to the computation result, which is based on transformation from Beijing coordinate system 1954(BJS54) to CGCS2000.In the following, the source of distortion error which influences transformation accuracy is also analysed. Finally, the strategies for the transformation of survey control site, paper topography map and digital topography maps are analysed and listed out.3. The principle and method of minimum curvature model are discussed and analysed in detail, formulas of making program are deduced, and the optimum using strategy are decided. The formulas deduced in this dissertation have been proven to effective after the comparation with software"Surfer". It shows that grid transformation based on minimum curvature model is with better transformation accuracy compared with coordinate transformation model adopted by the Bureau of National Surveying and Mapping.4. The models such as covariance prediction, multiple regression, weighted average, multi-quatric function are also studied for their application in grid transformation, the five models which include minimum curvature model are compared and analysed in several aspects such as control parameter of transformation process, transformation accuracy and whether it is easy to realize or not. Finally it is concluded that covariance prediction model should be recommended as the prior one adopted in grid coordinate transformation.5. The layout of coordinate transformation grid is discussed to adapt to the situation in our country, the approaches to construct regional sub grid acoording to existing transformation grid and adding common points are studied, and grid file format suitable to the grid layout is also designed.6. The structure and function of grid coordinate transformation software are designed and realized. This software could be used to construct transformation grid and implement grid interpolation transformation which is based on various transformation modes, such as single point mode, point file mode and map coordinate file mode.7. The coordinate transformation website based on Web service is studied and designed, and the function based on online transformation is also realized. Ordinary users haven't the ability to implement coordinate transformation for the reason that they are short of special knowledge and without the right to get transformation parameters. However, in terms of online coordinate transformation based on web service, complex arithmetic and transformation parameters are installed in the server, while users don't have to think of details but input the coordinate to be transformed on the browser and the implementation of transformation is finished.
