Analysis Of Technique And Economy Of The Small Scale Cogenerating Desalination System

In this paper, the analysis of technique and economy of the small scaleCHP multi-effect distillation (MED) desalination device was focused on.Firstly,we analyzed the energy consumption of the various desalinationprocesses and give the case studies of some typical seawater desalinationsystems. And a simplified design method of the MED device and a relevantprogram of designing and verification were developed. The processing flowdiagram of 3 t/d small scale cogenerating MED desalination system, thestructure of device, its automatic controlstrategy and so on were designed. Andthe primary evaluation of the technical economy for the MED device was done.
