Study And Realization For Stability Of The Floating Structure Based On AutoCAD Software

With the expanding of exploitation of ocean resources and the development of the technology of offshore engineering, both the type and the shape of floating structures increasingly become diverse and complicated. On the other hand, with the trend of moving towards deeper seas in severer environmental conditions, their stability has been more concerned.For the CAGD ability of AutoCAD software platform, this paper is based on the AutoCAD software platform in doing the research of the stability of the floating structure.For obtain the stability of the floating structure, this paper adopt two methods, one is to decompose and compose the floating structure, another is panel pressure method. For the first method, we decompose the complex floating structure to base unit, set up a model on AutoCAD software platform, and use the OOA method and the second developing tool of Object ARX provided by AutoCAD. Calculate all the decomposed units on the different water plane and get the stability curve. On the same time, we the use the word decline angle, by obtaining the curve plane, we can get the stability curve under the different water depth and different water plane.Using the second method, by the idea of finite element method in dynamic fluent, in fact, it is a method of decomposing and composing structure. We decompose the surface of floating structure by triangle decomposing method. Thus, the surface will be decomposed into the tiny surface unit. We use the triangle plane instead of the curve surface, and then calculate the static pressure of all the units in the angle water. Thus we can get the stability curve in the same angle of water plane. This method is fit for all the floating structure. So it has big scope, and this method doesn't bring the tolerant except for cutting tolerant.
