WebGIS is the development trend of GIS, current researchs on WebGIS mainly focused on posting Spatial Information on webs to facilitate users browse by using Internet technology. However, with rapid increasing data on webs and ralatively be isolated between each WebGIS, information share become a key problem to block the developement of WebGIS. As we know, with it's original defects, tradional C/S model cannot support interactive, integration and information share smoothly, but a turnning-point occured with the development of Multi-agent technology. Nowaday, researchers of Multi-agent mostly focus on information share, and abtained some achievement, but few deep reseachs be evolved on information share of WebGIS.This paper discusses the architect of WebGIS and Multi-agent, the technology of communication and collabration and the feasibility of using MA technology to solve the problem of sharing information in web-gis; constructs a distributed and equal information sharing model, which bases on MA-technology, meanwhile, this paper describes the detail design of MA application in application interface layer, business handling layer and data construction layer, and designs the management, communication and collaboration amongst each MA. Base on the research mentioned above, this paper finally discusses the application in GWRMIS (Groundwater resource MIS) with this model.According to substantial evidence, the model can satisfy the requirements of information share, can provide a facile method to implement a distribute spatial information share system, can support interaction, integration and information share demand smoothly, and promotes some development in web-gis. As a result, this paper get a conclusion that combination the MA technology and WebGIS will lead to more promising prospect and social benefit.
