Three-dimensional geological modeling is the key problem which the real three dimensional geographical information system (3DGIS) and data mine theory and technology stringency need to research and solve at present. However, complicated geological interface is the important part of three dimensional geological modeling (3DGM) and very need for geologic operators because it can provide three-dimensional visual message that can make correct judgement and analysis to geology problems for geologists. Researching methods of complicated geological interface (3DCGIM) can perfect methods of geological interface modeling, promote the development of 3DGM theories and methods, provide the foundation of theories and methods for developing practical commercial software. The thesis mainly discusses essential methods of automatic constituting complicated geological interface and real-time visualization on the basis of the three dimensional space coordinate data of complicated geological interface scatter dot. Firstly, in term of the character of complicated geological interface, adopt on the predecessor's subarea modeling thinking base on Triangulation Irregular Network(TIN), design the data structure which bases upon complicated geological interface of TIN, analysize the methods about faultage, drape and sediment absence in middle of complex geological modeling, bring forward the creating methods, encrypting methods, building geological body ways, and the calculating methods about the area of geological interface, the character of geological interface, the volume of the geological body and section incision, which is on the basis of TIN modeling data in complicated geological interface; The fellowing, the methods about visualization of the complicated geological interface are studied. In Windows, adopting MS Visual C++ 6.0 operating terrace software exploitation and resorting to OpenGL conducting primary tool of graph manipulation, the author researches and develops 3DCGIM visual testing system. The system can realize faultage incision, drape and sediment absence model simulation, model figure database foundation, model modification and real-time dynamic update, section automatic protract, map vectoring, spatial measurement inquiry and calculation and three dimension visualization and random angle show etc. at last, through vectoring soleplate contour about HeBei, XinTai Mine Corporate, Zhang county, layer of 8, author use the system which is created personally to simulate testing, the result indicates that the methods about complicated geological interface model is very effective.
