In recent years, many organizations successively have established respective GIS system, gathered and saved the massive spatial data. But at present, these systems mostly are isolate mutually. They do not blend mutually. The spatial data cannot share directly, forms a each one 'isolated information island' creates the resources seriously waste. At the same time the massive spatial data distributed in each department also proposed for us in the data renewal and the maintenance need. In order to realize spatial data sharing, fully excavates the spatial data the information, moreover the realization data prompt renewal and the maintenance, in the spatial information synthesis integration demand, needs to establish a spatial data more importantly to integrate the platform, realizes to the distributional spatial data integration.The paper research content is the national 863 projects 'the spatial information application service system based on the SIG frame city (Shanghai)' center constituent The research aim is to develop the distributional spatial data integration software, and construct the spatial information application service system prototype based on the SIG frame city (Shanghai) by using this software.In the software performance history, key conducts the research to the below essential technology: 1) Distributional spatial data search, at present mainly based on searching metadata; 2) Distributional spatial data access; 3) Isomerism spatial data conformity; 4) Spatial data network browser; 5) Platform management technology, including data security technology and multi-user concurrent visit technology.The software is constituted a set to have three structures patterns (the customer level, the logical level and the data level) the distributional spatial data platform software, this software mainly by based on number according to the data searches the module, isomerism space data conformity module, the spatial data browser three big modules constitutions.The paper altogether divides five chapters. The first chapter is introduction. It mainly introduced the distributional spatial data platform origin, the basic concept, the domestic and foreign development present situation as well as the existence insufficiency. Second chapter is in detail elaborated the distributional spatial data integrates five essential technologies, which the platform the construction involves. Third chapter is this article key point. In this chapter thorough exhaustive introduction entire platform software development detail,including the platform essential technology solution, the software main module constitution and all that enhances the software operating efficiency the method and so on. Fourth chapter introduced development in this system the software operational version through the application example (the city space information application service system prototype based on SIG).
