Calling sound is one of the effective ways in transmission of information between insects, and calling sound activities link with the outside world for insects. After a long period of natural selection and evolution, calling sound have significant functional division. The sounds of insects changes with sex, individual, age and the circumstances of the different. Over the past 20 years, with the power of the rapid evolution of technology and the popularity of computer technology, acoustic research skills have been constantly improved. Structural characteristics of the sound analysis of insects has reached the digital level, thus opening up a new era of acoustic properties in sounds of insects. In the present paper the characteristics of songs of Loxoblemmus doenitxi Stein and Vearifictorus micado Saussure are studied. The experiments show that the sounds tructure of crickets can be used asan important criterion for their identification. Songs of different species are different in the sound structure while those of the same species are all alike. It has mainly analyzed frequency domain characteristics and time domain characteristics of the songs. An identification keyon sound characteristics is made. The structure, power spectrum and temporal parameters of the calling sound, courting sound and wrestle sound(different sexratio) of Loxoblemmu doenitzi Stei were studied with acoustic analysiste chniques of computer. And adopting Cool Edit Pro 2.0(software) to analyze those sounds. There sults show that the sounds of Loxoblemmu doenitzi Stei can be distributed for 6 kinds of songs: calling song, welcome song , urging song , warning song, provoking song and victory song. The experiments show that the characteristics of these 6 types of songs are distinguished in acoustic properties with specific behavior and biological information. And among these features, some show the species recognition of factor. The structure, spectra and temporal parameters of sounds of Velarifictorus micado Stein under different condition .Were studied by acoustic analy sistechniques. The results show that the sounds can be classified into 6 types of song calling, warning, provoking, victory,...
