Magnetic exploration is a geophysical method on magnetic change observed in the underground medium. It can be used to find the magnetic anomalies or the earth burial. Now It have been used in the regional geology exploration . magnetite exploration. underground geothermic resource . water crape band. underground metal tubal and lines. underground cable .underground bomb unexploded. wasted metal . buried ship. ancientry sites and other buried magnetic bodies and so on.Magnetic method is a distinguished geology methods in the find of the iron mining in particular. But there are some problem in the practice. such as the choice of the quantitative interpration. The quantitative interpration's sensitivity on the anomalies is to define the exist state of the mining, and it can be checked by the engineering. Only the sensitivity is improved, the design of the exploration is valid. The study area is near the Chuzhangzi village about 9 Km away from the Qinglong County. The net scale is 50*20 m.â… ,â…¡,â…¢,â…£anomalies is defined from north to south ,500~900 m length and 50~100 m width each. The most intension and biggest of the four is the first with the 900 length. the most shape and the most regular is the second .Theâ…£anomaly is small and bad regular with the length 300 m.The first anomaly extends to the underground 300~400m.the second and the third 400~500m ,the forth 150~200m ,and their strike is Eastnorth and the tip Westnorth by quantitative calculate. It have been proved by the engineering that the interpration is in agreement with the practice. For all, The big scale magnetic exploration is a economic and availability method to the direct mining finding work. It would be good to use.
