Research Of Deposition Charcteristic Of Tsagaantsav Formation In The Southern Sag In The Tamtsag Basin

According to geological,seismic, well logging and logging well data of the Southern Sag in the Tamtsag basinin, this thesis takes sequence stratigraphy, sedimentlogy, petroleum geology etc theories as its instrument and take three dimensional seismic explanation technology, sequence stratigraphy, the sedimentary facies analysis technology, depositional facies analysis technology, as its Support. The study of precipitation facies has been carried out in four aspects, including the structure fault characteristic research, the structural history research, the high resolution sequence stratigraphy research, the sedimentary facies characteristic research..Main achievement includes: geologic correlation and stratigraphic classification have been done in the Southern Sag in the Tamtsag basinin in this thesis, based on the theory of continental facies downfaulted basin sedimentology, analysis of cycle of sedimentation and stratigraphic sequence ; the study of lithofacies characteristic and sedimentary structure of Tsagaantsav Formation has been done according to the data of core holes; the preliminary analysise of the rock properties havs been done according to the data of core wafers and the clay mineral analysise; the depositional system tract of the Southern Sag in the Tamtsag basinin has been analyzed in this thesis according to the cores, geological,seismic and logging well data.
