Detection of reservoirs from 3Dnormalized full gradient of gravity anomalies, constrained by seismic and drilling data is presented .Gravity method is of great significance in oil and gas exploration especially in the definition of sedimentary basins ,inference of prospecting areas and location of local structure saturated with oil and gas.Since the 1970s gravity meters with tens and a fewμGal have made it possible to yield gravity anomalies with precision of hundreds even tensμGal under gentle topography, and to directly detect the gravity effects due to reservoirs The research on gravity anomalies due to reservoirs is only a start but it must be of great significance in opening up a new application of gravity methods beyond the definition of sedimentary basins, inference of prospect area and the location of local structures with reservoirs.Observed gravity anomalies including some detectable effects due to reservoirs is a prerequisite for gravity method to detect reservoirs. However, separation of anomalies caused by reservoir from observed anomalies or the display of these anomalies depends the world have been doing a lot to solve this problem.I have been doing the following research clection and consultation of materials involving the project of detection of reservoir from gravity data We collect and consult a lot of geophysical journals and bokks suck as Abstracts of Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration, Remote Sensing and Geology(in Chinese), Abstracts of Oil and Gas(in Chinese), and some common geophysical journals in Chinese, English and Russian. Besides the NFG we tested some methods such as down continuation, Euler deconvolution and so on.Modification of the normalized full gradient method consists of three-dimensional computation of normalized full gradient rather than two-dimensional computation along a cross-section and so on. Field gravity data were processed using the modis\fied method. Field gravity data processingSome Boungure gravity anomalies from the LAO have been processed using the modified normalized full gradient method. he results show that the effectiveness i.e.conincidence of minima of normalized full gradient with the drilling data, is up to about %70and the results were used for selecting well locations...
