In the analysis of the point stability for deformation monitoring, especially in height displacement monitoring network, the method of mean gap is commonly used. The thesis mainly studies the application of the method of mean gap in the analysis of stability of plane monitoring network. At first, aiming at the shortage of the traditional method in the stability analysis of two periods of plane monitoring network, a modified modal is put forward. The modal separately carries out the stability test after the separation of the two axes. Secondly, in the stability test of a few periods of plane monitoring network, combined adjustment is processed to the observation data, using the theory of adjustment of observation equations which is conditioned. The thesis calculated a plane deformation monitoring network using the two modified modals above. Based on the calculated results, the estimations show more correct, reasonable and effective than traditional methods. The thesis is divided into 5 chapters. The first chapter introduces the meanings, development of the deformation monitoring and data processing, and the studied contents of the paper. The second chapter discusses the theory of the stability analysis of the deformation monitoring network, mainly discusses the theory of the method of mean gap. The third chapter talks about the basic theory of adjustment of observation equations with conditions. The fourth chapter discusses the application of the method of mean gap in the stability analysis of two or more periods of plane monitoring network, and induces the math model of the modified method. The fifth chapter aims at the processing of three periods of observation data of a plane deformation monitoring network using the modified model, so as to estimate the correctness and effectiveness.
