Geographic Information System (GIS) is a useful tool which based on the technology of computer .With it,we can collect,storage,manage,display and analyse geographic spatial imformation.Now just because its advantage ,the GIS is applied in many fields,including in Geographic Information System for Transportation(GIS-T),in other words,it is an integrated technology of GIS, which can collect,storage,manage, analyse and deal with the geographic spatial imformation of traffic.Linear Reference System(LBS) is a one dimension system and it can join directly the multiattribute and linear objects.With the LBS,we can understand, vindicate and analyse the linear object as quickly as possible.Dynamic Segmentation(DS)is a technology of analysing and displaying the linear object's attributes dynamicly. With this technique,we can segment the route dynamicly,and storage the attributes of all the roads in an unattached table(event table).As a result,all kinds of attributes based on a one system may relating with the spatial position based on two dimensions.In this thesis, we should establish the LBS firstly and may choose the mothed of Mileage-reference,and then segment the route.With this method and the data of the part of changchun's roads ,we can query and analyse the graph of roads from the corresponding spatial data, homologously,we also can do what do just now in GIS-T.Moreover,we can describle the relation of all kinds of attributes of road.
