Preliminary Research On Karst Planation Surface And Weathering Crusts Of The Liaodong Peninsula

The planation surface is the hot spot in recent geography educational world as the best "the stratum" symbol of geomorphology. This article from four aspects such as the definition, the classification, the origin and the presently situation in research and so on to introduced the planation surface's research. The Liaodong Peninsula is located south of Liaoning Province which is the Chinese second big peninsula. Its northern side boundary is Yalu River mouth with the Liao-river mouth on-line, other three faces are all the sea. The Qian mountain sierra crosses the entire peninsula from south to north。The peak is higher than 1,000 meters. The littoral in peninsula is the plain, and there are very many islands in the sea, such as the young Long island (snake island), Changshan Islands and so on. Because the marine climate affects , the climate in the peninsula is warm in winter and cool in summer, and it is the summer resort in summer. The Liaodong Peninsula as the second big peninsula in our country is one of Asian most ancient land parcels, and has the long evolved history. The peninsula existent multiple planation surfaces. this article mainly studies in the planation surfaces in the limestone areas of Liaodong Peninsula. This article applied MapInfo to select 10 on Liaodong Peninsula topographic diagram, and used this 10 sectional drawings we could observe distributed scopes and altitude above sea level of all planation surfaces growth in the Liaodong Peninsula. We can see from the 10 sectional drawings that the research area is in the altitude of about 50m above sea level,where has a big area of smooth mountain top or the altitude above sea level similar mountain peak. Through the Liaodong Peninsula topographic diagram, we could see this part of region mainly distribute in the south of Liaodong Peninsula, which is the main research region in this artcle.As important constituent of planation surface, the weathering crust is the spot of planation surface research to cut into. This article was in the foundation on existing achievement then chooses the Liaodong Peninsula area two typical karsts areas to study on. Attempt to use the research method - grain-size analysis that can reflect deposition rock's structure composition. According to the theory basis of weathering crust grain-size distribution characteristic is continue and develop to the mother rock and the weathering crust which grows in the different grain-size composition deposition rock has the different distribution characteristic under the decency degree medium condition. This article carry on a preliminary discussion on the grain-size distribution characteristic of the red weathering crust on the Liaodong Peninsula karsts area for the purpose of understanding the Liaodong Peninsula area's material origin of red weathering crust. This article obtains the grain-size distribution curve through the analysis to the sample, and to use which to compared with the rgrain-size distribution curve of Guizhou Jishou, and obtains the conclusion Liaodong Peninsula area karsts crust of weathering to obtain for the in-situ decency.
