According to the studying of the distribution characteristic and potential of GaoTaizi oil-water layers in the Sazhong development area, we present the different water-bearing stage in quantity and the depth boundary line which can be perforated and we prove that GaoTaizi oil-water layers in the Sazhong development area have some potential. Through collecting and collating the dynamic and static data related with oil-water layers such as coring well data, testing data, isotope element and annular in the Sazhong development area, we dissect the development and distribution characteristic of GaoTaizi oil-water layers in detail in the Sazhong development area based on the elaboration geology researching outcome and comprehensively track and analysis the production data of the well which is perforated in oil-water layers. Utilizing the hygroscopic section, annular data, coring well data and testing data, we describe the potential and distribution of GaoTaizi oil-water layers. We use five methods to establish the reshooting boundary line of GaoTaizi oil-water layers. On the basis of the five methods, we analysis in quantity and comprehensively evaluate the oil prone boundary line of GaoTaizi oil-water layers and advance that to ensure that the oil-water layers can be fully used, we can shoot in different proportion in oil-water layers and use different dig depth in different water-bearing stage. Researches suggest that almost half depth of the GaoTaizi oil-water layers in the Sazhong development area has been used and 66 unperforated oil-water layer wells and 716 perforated shallow oil-water layer wells have some potential. Perforated depth proportion of unproduced oil-water layer shouldn't pass 70% in current water-bearing stage and we should consider that the oil in oil-water layer , residual oil and second type useless reserves can be additional perforated simultaneously. To control the increasing of water-bearing, if the oil-water layers in single well which contains water less than 60%,we shouldn't shoot temporarily. If the single well contains water more than 85%, the perforated boundary line can be broadened. Economic effect evaluation suggests that GaoTaizi oil-water layers in the Sazhong development area have some potential and can obtain remarkably technical, economic and social benefit.
