Xinjiang Dushanzi region is situated at the northwest interior arid area. Along with the local economy's high speed development, the water resources demand rise rapidly, the water resources supply and demand tense aspect is day by day prominent. At present, Dushanzi region has altogether four water source fields. Because there is a big Dushanzi -Anjihai fault Penetrating west and east between the third water source fields and the upstream second, fourth water source fields, The hydraulic head difference between the fault's north and south sides reaches as high as above hundred meters, result in "fault-ground water drop" phenomenon in the fields of seepage. When setting up area ground-water flow numerical model, the treatment about the fields of seepage at the fault in the research area process into the very essential technical difficult problem.Based on the systematically analysis about area geology, hydrogeology conditions, this article has established the region hydrogeology conceptual model and the ground-water flow numerical model. Using the modeling for simulating and forecasting the groundwater level dynamic and the boundary output flow in view of different explore proposal. According to the model forecasting result, analyses and study the water source fields' exploration mutual influence and to environment's influence, and evaluate the water exploration in view of the legal explore proposal of the Dushanzi water source fields. The forecasting result indicated that, the ground water' exploration in upper water source field has more influence to the ground water level of downstream area, the lateral runoff from the fourth water source field passing the Halaid channel and the Anjihai channel is the important supplying source of groundwater in the third water source field. For the existence of "fault-ground water drop" in the fields of seepage, the downstream water source field' exploration has weak influence to the ground water level of the upper water source field. According to legal exploration yield, the groundwater level falls satisfies the permission to drawdown request; ground water exploration has the sufficient supplies amount of resources to guarantee; and it is feasible in economical engineering factor; there will be not bad hydrology geology, engineering geology and the ecological environment question; so, the exploration plan is reasonable feasible.In view of the actual condition that there is not unification initial flow field in the research area, according to the natural relation and capacity of groundwater's supply and runoff, use the numerical simulation method to obtain the natural groundwater unification flow field, take the initial flow field by this one when using the modeling for forecasting in the research area. In view of the existence of "fault-ground water drop" ,using the PM software's horizontal barrier boundary to carry on processing in the establishment of numerical model for the first time. Simulate the ground-water flow characteristic of the "fault-ground water drop" successfully, has made the very good simulation progress. Its research results have certain theory value in the numerical simulation method of processing question about "fault-ground water drop" in the fields of seepage, may provide the experience and the reference for the similar local ground-water flow numerical simulation research.
