In recent years, there were more and more vehicles, traffic demand and traffic flow in cities with the development of our country's economic. In this situation, The real time traffic information is broadcasted by the traffic center, dynamic navigation system can get the real time traffic status around the area. The navigation can update the map data with the wireless network. This navigation mode can not only avoid the traffic congestion but also save the traveling cost and the map data of the navigation can be maintained conveniently via the connection of traffic information center and navigation system.Dynamic navigation system is this paper's research background, Several key technologies is studied for navigation electronic map in dynamic navigation system.-1. Data organization mode, space data storage mode , topology process of navigation Electronic map are introduced.2.Dynamic navigation system mode is presented, The dynamic navigation system structure and display mode with real-time traffic message are designed. This paper also design the data organization management of navigation Electronic map. and then the demo is displayed via GIS software.3.Navigation system local data may mismatch with update data. Meet this problem ,several research is done. Layered and divisional data organization model are designed. Road net data and index data is design to store in different place. This paper also research the problems of edition matching for difference update and try to offer the solution.4.Based on current GIS theory and embedded application of Navigation map, this paper puts forward an development mode of the navigation program--"MiniGUI+MGIS",based on Linux operation system , the main function of navigation map has been realized. And GIS structure characteristic and function interface are discussed. This paper offers a new design idea for navigation map engine in the embedded Linux progress in the vehicle GPS navigation system.
